The 301H diode setup in the bar array, doesn't need to put out 1000PPFD. This KS-5000 @ 830-900 PPFD, will grow the biggest and densest buds the plant genetics will allow. (assuming your grow techniques, environment, feedings etc, are all proper. I have 8 grow cycles on this light assembly. The sweet zone is 800-880 PPFD, even with CO2 levels between 600-900PPM. It out grew my previous SF and MH lights pushing 1000-1150PPFD. I sold all my other lights, and now own 3 of these KS-5000's. I generally harvest around 80oz every 75-100 days alone.
Trying to make up my mind on what light to buy for a 4x4 tent grow my options are a spider farmer SF4000 for $200 or a California light work solar system 1000 for $350 or 2 solar system 550s for $350.
California lightworks ate way overpriced like black dog, they bought parts when they cost alot more years ago. So tbh they cant offer a good price like mars hydro or even cheaper medicgrow fold 8
Hello, I purchased the ks2500 and I have yet to harvest a plant. I have the distance at 25 inches light at 25 percent. The tent temp is 75 and the rh is 65 percent. Par meter only says 180 at 25 percent and 267 at 50 percent. Every plant stunts and then destroyed. I'm stumped. Can you please help. Thank you
Did you get that issue with this particular grow light resolved. I was wondering if you could’ve possibly just been dealing with bad seed genetics what seed bank did you order from and also a what strain were you attempting to grow curious because I was researching to possibly purchase one of these lights and don’t want to waste the money if these are the type of problems that I could potentially be dealing with. and because believe it or not at this moment, I am using a $65 grill light, and I am getting excellent results but I was looking for something that had a little bit more bells and whistles.
I just purchased the ks 5000 it did not come with the driver they advertise. I emailed viparspectra several times with no response. The driver I received looks nothing like what I've seen on other videos for reviews. The one I have is over 2 ft long 4 in wide two and a half inches thick and no way to hang it. Sending mine back. Good luck
