We used something similar to this, but we call it the Good Samaritan Oil. You take a specified amount of drops from each essential oil and then add it to a carrier oil. During the virus the past couple of years we used this mixture, putting a drop on wrists, ear lobes, temple, ect. It had anti-viral, anti-bacterial factors which prevented catching the thing. I even put it on my face mask so I could inhale the healing scents. It had a very nice smell to it. I like your ideal to put these oils in a candle.
We love that combination of oils in our family! Using this combination has kept my special needs child out of the doctor's office for the past 13-ish years!
I'm 72 and I know what you mean. Perhaps rather than trying to absorb and apply all this new info we should start with just those things that resonate most for our life, accept and apply those things first until they become a comfortable part of our every day - then gradually branch out to the next thing. That is what I'm trying to do and I find it is working without feeling so overpowered and overwhelmed.

I've been to some office spaces that use UV light as well. I believe they circulate the air over the light to do essentially the same thing as these candles.

I use a Lampe Berger, a lamp created in 1898 by pharmacist Maurice Berger. It’s a catalytic lamp, that has the unique ability to capture and destroy bacteria/odours through catalytic combustion. These lamps were initially created to purify the air in hospitals; but by 1910 they were being sold in department stores. One small lamp can purify the air in a 2000 sq ft house in 20 mins. They have all manner of fragrances; but they’re expensive/fragrant, and give me headaches, so we just burn very cheap 91% isopropyl alcohol in ours. It’s amazing how quickly odours like fried chicken can be cleared out of the kitchen. They’re relatively inexpensive on the BAY, so check them out. Make sure you get 4 parts if you’re buying used ~ the bottle, the wick/burner, the cap, and the grill. Good luck!
Meant to comment on last candle video. I think was awesome. I really love idea using cheap candles for wicks!! I have big container of crisco, is so old, i wouldn't cook with it. I saved it for utilitarian reasons. TY!😊
Interesting that you came back on for the thieves oil candles. As I was watching yesterday your candles video, I was thinking this very same idea. Well you are just great with all your helpful videos!! Thank you so much!!
Lovely video, and very useful, thanks! A note about your title: the word 'born' should actually be spelled 'borne'. The idea being that the air *bears* (transports) the germs from one place to another (adjective 'borne') instead of the notion of the germs being birthed (born) in the air. I hope that makes sense and is helpful to you. Have a lovely Thanksgiving. ❤

You have used it on animals and said it helped. I do get confused w/what is safe and what is not. Their noses are so much more sensitive than ours.

I was surprised at Crisco's history. There's a flame on the package cause it's the original way to safety burn. N Very non toxic compared to any paraffin wax.

Bee's wax cleans the air as well. Does the crisco cause issues because seed oils and whatnot are harmful and cause cancer and other health issues?
Bees wax is cleaner but burns fast. The vegetable oil however will still burn cleaner than what most store bought candles are made off

Good question. I only used it on my hands when I was out & about…
For sure wouldn’t pet my cats with that on my hands tho.
It’s very dispersed. So as long as they’re not locked in a small room with it, they will be fine.

Not sure
Doesn’t the Crisco have a smell when burned?
No

Just don’t put it on their fur where they would lick it.
