Good video, resonates with me on why stay in one place only when can stay in so many places over a period of 2 weeks because we will get bored and rental AirBnB / hotel is great. Just make sure one can generate cash flow from your investments to enable such a lifestyle. Looking forward to this lifestyle 5 years down the road when I reached 60, after all, I have done shielding , put all my OA in 6% dividend yield stocks. Plan the future wisely and early so that one can enjoy this type of lifestyle - Bali, BKK, so many cities in China etc.

Best to keep your property in Singapore and rent a place if you want to retire oversea.

If your love leads you in having non-singaporean wifey, it offers a diff spectrum of opportunities, thus travelling path will be diff. Definitely agreed on rental might be better off then purchase, travel more (aka eat, see, enjoy & appreciate) while you can. Retirement is concept, enjoy the planning process and your "trial & error" stage. Never try; Never know!!

For me points to consider for retirement are cost of living, accessibily for healthcare, friendness of the locals, neiboughoods, climate, things to do, food, language, immigrtion policy to foriegners. Safty is not even in top 10. I dont understand why people obssess about it. If you dont have an open mind, then i suggest just stay in Singapore lor

Wars will get bigger and more widespread and, soon enough, countries will have to safeguard foodstock for their own peeps. When that happens, what do you guys eat? Digits on your laptop screen? We just sold 2 M tonnes of rice to Indonesia. Malaysia is begging to buy.
