Be careful of ladyboy sharks in Pattaya beach
This guy is clearly not retiring. He's so busy travelling.
He is Tiring , not Retiring .
Nobody wants Huawei phones in China. It's a fake phone.
We buy Xiaomi phones.
Oppo and vivo are a joke
Andy is such an interesting guy to listen to. Hope to meet him.❤
sure will invite him again
I like how Andy mixes practical advice with a more philosophical take on some things. A lot of wisdom there. Hope to see him on the channel again
Certainly =)
Good video, resonates with me on why stay in one place only when can stay in so many places over a period of 2 weeks because we will get bored and rental AirBnB / hotel is great. Just make sure one can generate cash flow from your investments to enable such a lifestyle. Looking forward to this lifestyle 5 years down the road when I reached 60, after all, I have done shielding , put all my OA in 6% dividend yield stocks. Plan the future wisely and early so that one can enjoy this type of lifestyle - Bali, BKK, so many cities in China etc.
Thank you and happy new year
Fabulous sharing!
Thank you for the high praise
Interesting video! I would love to see more of these type of contents. Cheers to 2024! All the best!!!!
Thank you. Smash the subs and stay tuned for more =)
Excellent discussion! Btw the place whereby u find dolphins in north Bali is called Lovina. Singarajah is the old capital of Bali.
You’ve lived in Bali for an extended period?
No, but have been there multiple times@@JOSHTANLIVE and been all over, not just uluwatu, canggu, seminyak et al
S.E Asia is best place in the world to retire
Yay! Andy! He just appeared with Max Chernov.
Yes I know 👍
Good interview. He’s an interesting globetrotter.
Thank you. Yes I think great perspectives shared :)
Indeed, eventually one would come back to homeland for good. Being the legit citizens provide all social welfare and privilege too. All other cities just treat it as short or long holidays.
I would have loved to know where he stayed in China and whether its possible to stay in local bnbs
Best to keep your property in Singapore and rent a place if you want to retire oversea.
Land scare, more wealthy coming to Singapore and ever appreciating Sing dollar.
Fully agree
If your love leads you in having non-singaporean wifey, it offers a diff spectrum of opportunities, thus travelling path will be diff. Definitely agreed on rental might be better off then purchase, travel more (aka eat, see, enjoy & appreciate) while you can. Retirement is concept, enjoy the planning process and your "trial & error" stage. Never try; Never know!!
I want to be like this guy, own property in Malaysia, Singapore.and Thailand, work in. India and China and have 2 coffee shop
The upside of being a business owner is good but also need to ask him the hardships he has gone through too
it will be a good option to adopt touch no go mentality to stay few weeks or months in a single country.
Yes i think in retirement years if no grandchildren, this would be fun =)
@@JOSHTANLIVE nay. with grandchild also need to explore the world. We only have 80000 days and money cannot buy back time.
Nice, had my pizza there 2 months ago
Thank you on behalf of my guest Andy👏
For me points to consider for retirement are cost of living, accessibily for healthcare, friendness of the locals, neiboughoods, climate, things to do, food, language, immigrtion policy to foriegners. Safty is not even in top 10. I dont understand why people obssess about it. If you dont have an open mind, then i suggest just stay in Singapore lor
Good points raised =)
Wars will get bigger and more widespread and, soon enough, countries will have to safeguard foodstock for their own peeps. When that happens, what do you guys eat? Digits on your laptop screen? We just sold 2 M tonnes of rice to Indonesia. Malaysia is begging to buy.
rent out the HDB & rent a condo in jaybee.
Apple moving to India? Indian labour must be easy and docile deal with. Also very productive.
Just do what the Corporate Breakup Couple did: retire in Penang (Island) and then travel back to Singapore when you want and then travel the area and world. Done! Malaysia is vastly underrated!!!! I almost bought a seaside condo in Penang last month!!!!
Yes haha. Watch - I found a couple who retired at 40 in Penang | Tips on visa and property @corporatebreakoutcouple th-cam.com/video/rS6crCim5h8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KuXpi5wp8IXQzzY-
Did you bought it eventually?
@@fxorigins6624 No, most likely going to rent instead. Cheaper to.
Is there any issue with the mic ? The voice is too low. cannot hear clearly.
Mic part ya was abit too far. Abit of background noise
How did people fund their semi retirement, Andy owns a cafe, but we work cooperate Job 😢.
He builds and owns business. Its a different route and the upside if succeed is nice but the journey may not suit everybody
Bro invest your mic la
agree
Jai Hinduja. Even can can earn a bit of doles in Singapore but can spend like a duke in Thailand.
JB ? Kind of expensive.
Is he a Malaysian? He uses a lot of 'lah'😂
Singaporean slang
vietnam is better. and their economy is improving leap n bounds
which cities or provinces youd suggest? And how is housing there?
@@JOSHTANLIVE up n coming costal towns within 2 hrs drive from ho chi min or hanoi. too near the major cities is ex and too far is not convenient n less amenities
I always love SG-bagus, second-home Perth, third-home BKK Kap with my owned condos in overseas and kept more SG dollars are safer guys!!!👍🙏👏
