Dokken - Rhymes with Rocking. Easy to remember that way. Tx for watching this one. Its one of my absolute favorites. Takes me back to me teen years every time. Always a special place in my heart and memory for that one.
Same here, I was born in 1969.😁Anyone else feel a strangely profound sense of gratitude for being a teen/young adult in the 80s? God knows I Do. I'm realizing I grew up in the greatest time to be alive for music and entertainment. Dokken Rocks!😎🤘
Still a treasure of a song after all these years! And they have a great catalog of songs that you will enjoy pretty girl! And I highly encourage you check them out! I appreciate you sharing!
Heaven Sent is another great ballad if you can call it that. Unchain the Night is great. Just Got Lucky, Into the Fire, so many more. My dad still plays guitar, he's got a George Lynch signature with his autograph on the back of the head that he didn't notice until after he bought it somehow lol.
Yes mam, Dokken is Dawken. You got it right. Great great great reaction. Dokken is my favorite band. Try 'Kiss Of Death", live in philadelphia. "I like his eyeshadow" "I like the arm band". Classic react. Don Dokken's range goes ballistic. You'll see. Thank You. Peace.

This song is A great song this is my favorite band I grew up in the 80s I was 9 or 10 when this come out in my opinion best band of the era and still putting out music today
If you want harder Dokken, Breaking the Chains was their first release in early 80's. In My Dreams is a good one from Nightmare on Elm Street soundtrack. If you want even harder, Tooth and Nail
Some fun facts - I'm a trained singer and there are a lot of vocal techniques Don uses throughout the song, almost all covers of this song are sung incorrectly. - The record company pushed for a ballad and Don agreed. The other band members didn't want the song on the album. - Don paid for the video, cameras were setup when they played live towards the end of their tour. - I'm the only one who's going to tell you this because I used this technique in my video. The shots of Don singing alone, the microphone is way off center. almost off the side of his face so the lighting can light up his face and not have a reflection of the microphone. - Of course, this was their breakout hit. Great song, great band, song is written extremely well, a lot of passion behind it, great video, every track is perfection, definitely one of the best ballads of the 80's, the best decade ever.
One of the greatest power ballads of all time. Their 1st 4 albums are fantastic
Born in 1970 if you didn’t live the 80’s it’s indescribable to explain the vibe
Also born 1970. The 80' music was just plain awesome!
1971, and George Lynch inspired me to play guitar almost 40 years ago. I can't explain the vibe either, but it was good!
'69 - this was my high school - best music ever!
Yep
It rhymes with Rockin! This is hands down the greatest rock ballads ever written.
