Unlikely you're still reading comments after so long, but just in case...Good for you for making this a family affair. Love seeing good people in the world. There's not enough of them, so good on you. I found your video by trying to find this spot so I can take my young sons (and Labrador).
This is the first time that I have seen a video of yours. Thank you for sharing. I am looking forward to a less populated trip to the north rim in the near future.
@@mehdiabderrahmane2439 Trail is mostly easy with a few mild obstacles. I did not air down, but it may have been more comfortable if I did. Have fun! Would love to hear how it went.
Wow, what an amazing trip with awesome video footage. I can relate to the magnitude of your trip with your daughter, ten years ago I was fortunate enough to take a six week long cross country trip with my adult son & neither of us will ever forget. Thank you for sharing a very special adventure the both of you took.
I'm hoping to do something on that scale soon also. Love hearing what others have done. And getting positive feedback. Keeps me motivated to do more. Thank you
Terrific video of an awe-inspiring location and region. I appreciate that you went through the effort to give those who lack the ability toget there in person a chance to see it through your experience.
Thanks for the info and great family friendly video. We are taking our kids out west and have been looking for remote areas, off grid places and back roads for boondocking and sight seeing nature. I am allergic to fragrances and chemicals, and don’t do well around a lot of people. Love y’all’s videos!
@@thesecondhalf5823 😏I'm gonna assume she was afraid to try to turn around. So, I sure hope you've been giving her lots of back roads driving instruction. If she can learn to drive a manual, that might come in handy too! 🍻🤙🏽👍🏽✌🏽
Wonderful footage, added to my trip “must stop”! How far off the road is it? Should I consider pulling travel trailer and setting camp on blm property for a day or two?
Very nice video, great location, we did a week long trip to the area ( Zion-Jacob lake - GC-Lees ferry) awesome views ,could have been a month and it still wasn’t long enough. Planing to go back and camp at the rim😎
@@thesecondhalf5823 I dont know what area you are from, my wife and I are in Vegas and we are looking for people to go out and explore and or camp with . There is so much opportunity around the area. Sir, thank you for this video and your insight. Love seeing how these adventures bring your family together. I have a Tacoma and we pile the dogs and kids in and travel to unknown locations to have these memories cause you only have one shot at this. Would you mind messaging me the name of this overlook. We are planning on heading to a few spots in the Grand Canyon-Parashant area but this looks gorgeous. Thank you again
Thanks Ryan! I'm running a Tacoma now too! I love it. As for the the name of the overlook, I honestly don't know. Best directions I could give you is in the vid. I used Onx Off Road and took Buffalo Ranch to North Rim Grand Canyon. If you search that in OnX or even google it will pop up. Hope you go. It was amazing!
How long time it was taking you to drive from the beginning of the trail to that primitive campsite at the edge of the Grand Canyon? Thanks by advance 🦋🌼💫
What a beautiful video! 👍🏼 I m a nature and animals lover and one of my ultimate dream was always to camp one night at the rim of the Grand Canyon! Can you please share the gps coordinates? Please keep posting dreamy places like that! 🦋🌼🙏🏼
Thank you! Unfortunately I don't have GPS coordinates but in the vid, I show a map and describe how I got there. You should be able to find it from there.
How do we rent cabin name of place or person that rent it out, also do they let you rent cabin with the dogs and Do you need to have 4wd or is 2wd drive possible to go on that trail, and name of trail and location please

I love this place. Just my opinion here. Hope it doesn’t come off wrong. Some places should take some degree of effort and research to find. Not every exact location we go needs to be shared with detail. Maybe letting the entire world know how to get there in a detailed TH-cam video isn’t necessary. If someone really wants to go this place they will find it. No need to draw them a map.
I hear you, and I did debate that mentally. However in the end I found that I learned so much from folks that provided details I could use. But I'll continue to evaluate each circumstance individually and in some cases I may do just what you suggested.

Excellent video and adventure. I would like to camp right there on The Rim
There was actually two firepits right there that you can camp at.
This was an awesome video, Sir. Well done!
Thank you. Glad I was able to capture the trip and share it!
The North Rim (not the Jacob Lake North Rim) is the only way to go to see the GC. Nice video👍
Thanks! I loved this trip. Glad I could share.

I have been considering an e-cooler for my overlanding adventures. The ICECO is now on my radar, and at a price point of $500 it’s now a top pick.

You can definitely do that, or just make it a day trip and leave the trailer behind at another campsite.

Nice shots of the truck. The canyon.... not so much.
It was about the journey and the experience brother.....not necessarily the destination, although I do think the GC shots came out pretty well.
