Very good review. Daily using a T model for 4 years now. Its brilliant, has everything. Spec is very important with this car. Must have specs are the S, burmeister sound, 360 cam, panoramic roof, adaptive cruisecontrol, anything but pianoblack interior, ccb and designo comfort seats are perfect driving for 8 hours no problem. The UI and screen is outdated but the tech is still good I would say even better then newer cars since back then safety tech was a feature and not mandatory anoyance. Whats also nice is the IWC clock.
That looks like its been really well looked after. I bought a very low mileage early facelift non S. I bought it as a motorway cruiser and its superb. Deliberately went non S as i didnt want the performance seats or alcantara. 39 mpg on my work run and alot less when i want some fun. Superb car.
@thelogbookcc Bought it from Merc directly, late 19 plate, selenite grey, with just under 11k on the clock, premium plus, night pack and upgraded alloys. Full merc history. Looking at the market, I paid the right money. Incredible for the money 😍
Watch out for camshaft adjuster issues on that one. And by the S has forged pistons non S no forged pistons. And by the way we have "the" Supercharged C63 in our garage at the minute.
Liked the start button in the gear knob on the prev. gen. I have had prev gen and current gen and, for me, the current interior is light years ahead; I think MB interiors leave Audi for dead and, from my experience, lots of kit is featured as standard ( I didn't even know it was there until I got the car). Agreed on convertibles, absolutely pointless. Look great but feel a complete tool with the top down and, having ridden in the rear with the wife driving, seriously uncomfortable, even for an hour.
Very professional. Worth noting and won't apply to most people but the regular c63 and the S do not drive the same at the limit The S is very much designed to a make you shit your pants with the ESP while the regular is safer and it does not play anywhere near as much . The E diff is sharper, brakes more powerful and the Interior is higher quality. I can't remember fully but the cooling is uprated on the S. So tuning a standard c63 doesn't get you an S. If you dont drive it like a maniac you won't notice but if like me, you're at the limit often, they're two different cars. I draw my experience from 3 years in an S estate and around 4 AMG driving experiences, one in a non-s (half day) , 3 in an S including facelfit S

I am so glad you boys love your noisy toys, it stops you buying the cars I love. I have 3 mercedes, 2 e class 350's diesel (1 coupe and1 cabriolet) plus an slk 350 petrol 300 bhp skateboard! They are all superb cars, highly reliable, more than fast enough to break the law should you be stupid enough to want to do so. In total they cost less than one of your tyre shredders and will last me longer without driving with a target on my back. Thanks again, please don't grow up!
You cannot, cannot, cannot buy the convertible version as the roof cords will eventually fray (guaranteed, and not if but when) and no approved used warranty covers this, not even an MB warranty. Then it's a 2k to 3k bill, new cords, new roof lining and it will happen again in 12 months, badly engineered roof design. Ask me how I know ! Don't even get me started on the unprotected charge coolers in the front lower bumper getting destroyed by stones and the scuttle shake, omg the scuttle shake. By all means buy one but don't say you weren't warned !
I have an E class coupe and the seats are crap, the performance is good suspension a bit hard on these crap roads of ours, you cannot drive for hours without feeling stiff and there being not enough room to get comfortable. Summing up a decent car totally ruined by bad seats making it a car not for long journeys.

The humour is a welcome tonic too, it connects you with the audience. The only criticism I can make is the poor mic quality. Other than that stick with the formula. 👍

Ooh dear - convertible no 😢. Amazing engines - loved my 63s (s coupe and cls) but my convertible is a more civilised 911 4s but I’m a 50 year old man
