You know how when you hit someone with armor, they freeze for like 2-3 frames, then continue the animation ? Well that freeze frame is applied to the non-counter hit low animation when the low hits. I think only Leo, Josie and Julia have a high-low hitting move, but only Leo's has a counter hit animation.
I'm surprised that the counterhit animation even applies on King's muscle armor because if you hit him with any other low move during muscle armor, it does not register as a counterhit.
Stumble upon Leo in ranked > lose to Leo > ‘I will definitely learn his match up’ > forget about it > million hours later another loss to Leo. Repeat again

Adding to this that Steves 121 string against high powercrushes is "hit confirmable" into backsway 2, and against mid powercrushes he can still just hold back to enter FLK and block regardless.
Always felt Power Crushes are a gimmicky SF Mechanic since they were introduced so I actually appreciate the way this can completely disregard them. Edit: really appreciate that you used Ground Zero Funk while demonstrating how to wreck Power Crush abusers, Good Ass Tekken.
For the few Leroy mains out there, during that example showcase of beating power crushes on the wall, if that wall is a stage hazard you can throw 1+2 1+2 1 and the whole animation (and damage) plays out because the power crusher gets freezed in place and when the final 1 hits, then the stage hazard activates and you get your combo, it will of course have so much scaling that you do no damage after but at least it blows the power crush out of the way and you get your punish.
Another neat interaction: if they try to power crush ling while she's doing back turn 2, 2, 1+2, she creates enough time to aop duck after the 1+2, meaning she can launch the power crush attempt. This works on heat bursts and most other mid power crushes.
Slightly unrelated, but; with my fair and balanced Yoshi, I do back 1 (that ancient T1 spinning fist move where he gets dizzy) to scout power crushes. If I connect, I do 2-3 spins, and then depending on the character, I do his low spin foot launcher. Almost no brain power required.
3-4x Spin into b3/b4 into backturn launcher, on paper, is the best power crush counter. Felt into it one time, went from full hp to rage. With combo optimisation and Kin 2,1+2 reset he could've T.O.D. me.
Im pretty sure this is a bug. Because Leo is attacking 2 times on the same frame, the game is putting the armor stagger effect on a normal low counter hit frame.

Power crush is probably one of the worst additions to tekken. Everybody spams them. Most people use it right at the beginning of a round. Either heat engager or power crush. Just scrubby play and I'm sick of it.
Just because its annoying doesn't mean it not tolerable. Lows, grabs, rage art, punishing it after blocking it, or even just doing your own power crush after theirs can counter it. you can save jab the power crushes too so I don't find it that annoying if I have all these options to deal with it. super armor is a universal fighting game mechanic that's been in fighting games for a long while, as long its balance and not OP then I'm fine with it being in the game.
