      True it was pretty dusty Lindsay! Can confirm that the air filter access is done without removing the tank. Seat off with key, then the intake is located under the rear of the tank. I think it was 4 bolts.

    Love how the dude is just standing in your way at the end..lol Now just need to swing a leg over one and see how it fits as i am 6'3" and found my old Dl1000 odley cramped the way it made my knees bend. Didn't have the problem on ANY of the duel sport bikes I have owned. also wonder how the suspension is for larger riders... recently Had a KLX 300 and the suspension was too soft. tank was also waaaay to small...

    I really had high hopes for this motorcycle, i was looking for something lighter than my tuareg that would be comfortable on road to get to the off road stuff i ride. Being this will be 195kg ish wet its so close on weight to the tuareg that its probably not worth it. I should keep my tuareg.

    • @Vicko026
      @Vicko026 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      If you already have a Tuareg - keep it. The MT is not the enduro-rally bike you (and me and lots of others!) are looking for. I was out on my Tuareg again this morning and it was bliss. Aprilia do have a 457cc twin tho... you'd have to think that something will be forthcoming there... fingers crossed.

      @@Vicko026 thanks for the reply, yes I love my Tuareg! Funny you mention that, I've been wondering if Aprilia will make a mini tuareg with that new 457cc twin and will that be the unicorn we are waiting for? Hopefully 380 ish pounds wet like the KTM 390?? 🤞

    • @joshdoddadbod
      @joshdoddadbod หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Definitely keep the Tuareg. As much as we always want that new thing that will be more capable. The best way to make your bike more capable is to make you more capable by practicing and taking courses.

      You should definitely try the Kove 450 Rally. I own one and I had a T7, it is a mini T7 very rideable on road but a beast offroad. And 150kg. I have a V85TT for the road so maybe not objective but give it a try you might be surprised. I tried the Tuareg and loved it but bought the v85tt for the comfort

    Thanks for this extended review. Did you find your knees hitting the upper crash bar attachment sleeves? How tall are you?
    Cheers!
    Edit: when you hit the front brake at a certain point it squealed. I’ve noticed another reviewer saying the same thing & could hear it. This happened in another country. I wonder if the rotor buttons are extremely dirty or the pads are way too hard for longevity 🤔
    Did you notice this squeaky on other bikes within the group?

    • @Vicko026
      @Vicko026 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My knees didn’t hit anything no. I’m 181cm (just under 6ft).
      I did notice the brakes squeal pretty much only that once. I’d say they’d just got a bit dust glazed in that slow speed dust bowl that was the adv park. Once out and going again I didn’t notice them squeal anymore.

    • @Vicko026
