An interesting little dugout. Must be great building a shelter in a location where rainfall is so little the dugout won't get flooded. The food you made looked very appealing indeed. Thank you again for sharing.

It's so green wherever she is and so many trees, but no tree roots? If I tried that in my backyard or nearby woods there would be crazy roots and rock to bust through. Nice work though, very cool shelter.
When the soil is rich in nutrients the roots don't need to go deep, since its mostly "untouched" forest in temperate climate there is plenty of nutrients for the roots (as opposed to say cold climate forests where tree nutrients gets scarce in winter).
The information says she’s in Singapore. Don’t know if that’s of any help or information to you but perhaps this eco culture has different ground conditions (probably). I was in the jungle in Brunei, Borneo. Another world seriously. I grew up in mountains and forests but nothing like that!

I do enjoy these videos. I feel the dugout shelters would flood very quickly when it rains and being in the part of the world where she is it rains a lot. Breathable air may also be an issue. I only saw one small vent for the fire. The candle and fire would use all of her breathable air very quickly. Stay safe.
You can use the sleeping bag to gather higher volume of leaves. Or, a basket out of sticks. And lined with palm branches. Or a basket of green coconut branches.
This was hard work! The ground must be strengthened due to termite activity. One can still see the old lodge above the entrance. The mushroom dinner looks delicious!

I started digging in the back of my woods, and this place is HUMONGOUS! The beings here are extremely advanced and says it's year 2050. I don't think I'm going to dig any further.
Don’t get false ambitions folks, it would take at least a full week to move this much earth with just these tools. Not to mention severe blisters/callouses, muscle soreness, and other things that would cause burnout. This was a long term project, or more likely, involved significantly better tools, with filming interspersed.
Her videos are so regular that there’s no way she’s working alone. There was an older video of another underground shelter and the marks from a JCB/Caterpillar bucket were quite clear. Nonetheless, it’s clear that she does have a lot of talent and demonstrates a lot of how to do it if you want too. Obviously very physically fit too. You can also see by the strategic camera shots that probably someone else is setting them or else she’d be spending 15 out of every 20minutes setting up angles and checking them. Even more time intensive. Overall I do find her videos relaxing to watch and I guess that’s what matters.

Wowwww...I can't wait to get physically fit enough to stoop and actually stand back up on my own then after about another few years be able to move at this normal pace without aches and other medical stuff. Where's this? Watching her dig seems so easy. It isn't, at all. The type of soil is smooth and not compacted so it looks like piece of cake. I have tried to dig to grow some plants and I have had to give up for lacking the strength... Congratulations to this girl. She also has architecture knowledge. 😱
As many places that she has designed & built & with over 1 million views I know she has more than just 1 outfit - she always wears the same outfit & her toenail polish always looks like it was just done - but she does have skills 💯
It's very interesting. She has a huge bolder sitting almost on top with no support, the air shaft could use a piece of screen over it. I wouldn't want any snakes, spiders or other critters deciding to move in. A typhoon might fill it up pretty quickly. I give the young lady credit though for the work she's putting into it. It must be much cooler in there.
Is it just me or is she only doing underground builds now? Seems like she's preparing for something and boy if something happens she has ALOT of hiding spots to go to now I would not be able to stay underground like that she must have them ant's all in there because she always builds under them and snakes or other animals could crawl down in there lol but it's so awesome to watch her do these builds weather underground above ground or in a tree :) does anyone no were she from?
I finally did notice tree roots but I don't notice many rocks and it looks like sedementary materials like you are somewhat near a river maybe in a lower sea level area but you're building yours at a higher altitude obviously so it won't flood.. I guess....
