My boss hired one years ago on the back of a lorry to get to the top floor of a tower block Sterte court in Poole. Up we went and the driver rammed it into the wall. My boss said take us down plz, then asked the driver to get out and I had to take it back up even though I'd never used one before. I needed to make good the fault and repair the wall as it had just been covered in Rockwool and rendered over 15 floors high.

I used to work for a national company that traveled the country doing electrical work at major stadiums. We regularly serviced and installed stadium lights. We had to use those massive lifts too.
