I'm not sure how Ashville, Daniel and the team manage to make a 18 minute video about changing the boom on a material handler and have me hooked from start to finish... I seriously think they could make a feature film about cleaning mud from a dumper and I'd pay to see it in the Odeon...

Uraaaaa, a train montage at last, I've missed my fix ! I'm really glad that you've got everything sorted out, and your wise words at the end are so true: You need to build great relationships with your suppliers and contractors, and give staff the right tools for the job to keep everyone happy and make Ashville more efficient and cost effective. Well done! ❤

Hallet & Silbermann, Thats a name from the past well I'm talking the 1960s and setting the main supply and spoil loading site. At Ferry Lane, Tottenham where tunnel spoil was brought to the surface via a bottom dump system from the twin tunnels. Onto a conveyor belt up an incline and dumped in the yard for loading into Halls 11 cy trucks using a Matbro FE loader. H & S did a lot of equipment installation and transport for the Victoria Line tube project.
I would like to suggest casting a level slab, to store the spare bucket and carry out the swap. This will ensure the pins line up easily and hoses don't drag in the dirt. Again, speeding up the changeover even more.

Having watched the sea dredged aggregate trains from Bretts at Cliffe in Kent, and limestone from Yeoman's, now Aggregate Industries quarry in Somerset being unloaded at Day's yard at Tolworth, I wonder if having a hopper discharge facility would impose more costs from GBRF and therefore be cost neutral or even cost prohibitive over the current arrangement. Hoppers are faster, but the locomotive is running the whole time the train is being discharged as it has to move the train along one wagon at a time over the pit. Tolworth trains are usually just 16 hoppers and it takes about 90 minutes to unload. A class 66 has a 140 litre 12 cylinder engine, the EMD710, each cylinder is 11.6 litres!. That's a lot of fuel GBRF would want paying for while they shunt the train. Plus pay for the driver and the man on the ground managing the movements.

How did they also mess up the connection having sold you the spec you wanted and site visits? As much as you advocate for LIE-bherr, I would say generally your videos, and all the issues with the LH60 and other Liebherr plant you have, doesn't put them in the best light.
