Thanks so very much for that part where you said one shouldn't freak out when you start the car and it revs up way higher than it was. I cleaned mine last week just like you did in the video and boy, the rev shot up so dramatically which got me so scared that I thought I'd done more harm than good.
I took the car on a very long drive for about 3 hours in some heavy traffic jam and when I returned home, it was back to normal. Thank God I didn't waste my money earlier going to a mechanic to tone down the revving.

Followed your directions, changed the air filter also and gave the car a chance to recalibrate and is working fine afterwards. Thanks for the video on MAF!

Awesome video. This guy makes it look so simple and easy. Thank you very much. The dealer wants 79.95 for this service and 199.99 for EFI service.

I just cleaned MAF and TB on 2003 Camry. Yep, idle went up to 1100 rpm. Hopefully will drop to normal RPM after few drive cycles. Appreciate and enjoy this channel.

Did it ever drop down back down to the normal RPM range?

@@SG-bb8pq Yes it did next days drive. Just took road trip from Phoenix to Chattanooga, about 4000 mile round trip. Monitored O2 lambda and LTFT as drove with UltraGauge OBD2 monitor, engine ran great at 132k miles on the car.

My 2002's MAF has never been cleaned in 20 years. Like the video author said, it lasted this long because it was driven gently with good air quality conditions. So that might answer one of the viewer's questions. I had a vacuum leak right near this sensor too on the fat rubber boot, someone didn't tighten it up maybe when they changed the air filter. Now it has P0174 and P0171 codes. The car runs too rich and guzzles gas right now. I ordered the same cleaner. Thanks for the fantastic video. You are very helpful sir thank you.

My son and I were having trouble disconnecting the connector for the MAF sensor, but now, with your video, we should be able to do it without any issues. I just subscribed to your channel!

You should change the MAF Sensor depending on your travel. Normal street use: inspect the sensor every 30,000 miles. If it's dirty then clean it. Thanks for that tip!

Aloha, I am going to try this on my 2001 Toyota Camry seeing to how spark plugs, wires and coil paks where done but I still have a odd boggling every now and then. I really hope that it isn't anything like piston ring problems. Ugh. It's just been a 4 month challenge since I bought this car. It's like a bad Toyota relationship for me and I know that these cars just the best running family car.
