Love and share your enthusiasm. I can't wait for the next everything . I've been calling the engine covers Roc Socks. He could put sponsorship ads on the bottom of them 😁
Welcome back Jack good to have you back i missed you can't wait to see the future of space flight unfold and see it in my life time GO spaceX Go Starship Go multi planetary exploration
I wouldn have thought the Ship QC Arm being slow was due to the giant propellant lines, which would be SUPER cold during launch, and therefore very stiff... _(if Terminator 2 has taught us anything, it's that cold = brittle)_ But, I suppose being *really* heavy is ALSO plausible! 😅
@nasaspaceflight 10:20 (correction on the weld lines on the side of the new fts box). Those already existed on previous prototypes/boosters you guys kinda noticed that during stream.
Sorry team but the mic audio was just not clear on this video. Not sure if you’re using on-camera, external mic, overhead + c-stand, or lav…But I would check muffling and perhaps consider a different solution. Just a minor nitpick, keep up the great work!
The key work in his discussion of this is torque, from asymmetrical rotational force. This is being addressed by a complete redesign of the quick-disconnect. As was discussed. The tower was designed for massive vertical forces, which are experienced during lifting, and catching if all goes to plan. Moving the chopsticks quickly for the catch maneuver generates a symmetrical rotational force which limits the torque on the tower. To allow them to close faster the chopstick have been redesigned as well.
It would be very helpful if you guys could label sections of the video. It would be much easier to find information within the video that people are looking for.
Hey guys, just one criticism on this episode - audio for Jack is not good. Sounds like he is speaking through a tube i.e. some sort of compression going on? Whatever mike setup you used needs improvement. Just some positive feedback :)
Jack is back!!
Fast...packed...brilliant and Jack took 2 breaths. Great thx NSF team.
One of the few broadcast I can’t watch at 1.5X speed😂
😂 2 breaths....thats so funny..... and talked very loud the whole time 😂 Jack your awesome ..... we all love Jack!!! Great update Jack and NSF
@@chammockutube hahahaha
Next time…..one breath!
Starbase Update with Jack just hits different.
Probably because he doesn't individually say *every. number.* in the giant crane model numbers... 🤣😊
Nobody does an update like Jack does an update. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!
I really don't like Phelix either.
Jack, your excitement is infectious! I can’t wait to see 2 stacked starships either! What a time to be alive!
Wooo! NSF starbase Update!
Just watched the static fire! Flight Five will be here soon
Thanks, Jack - as ever, updates on Starbase are welcome!
Give us more updates by Jack!
Speaking continuously on a complicated process requires long practice as well as natural gift
❤❤
+1 for “Advanced Simulation”
Back Jeyer is back
Great to see you back Jack!!! BACON!!!!! Awesome Starbase Update!!! Thank you!!
Great writing, presentation and video Jack!
Thank you, Jack. Another awesome update. A week at StarBase is like a year at most other locations.
6:26 I'm so excited too Jack. In fact anyone who is not excited is on the wrong channel. Thanks for all your work NSF team 🙂
Advanced Simulation...Hahahaha! Great content as always!
Tower stacking is so cool. I am so grateful to you space geeks for the work you do. ❤
Love and share your enthusiasm. I can't wait for the next everything . I've been calling the engine covers Roc Socks. He could put sponsorship ads on the bottom of them 😁
Jack and NSF crew thanks for sharing the update! Keep the content coming! Please!

Static fire was good, and so was this edition of Starbase Update.
Nice having Jack host Starbase Updates again.
Thanks Jack a considerable comprehensive update .

Thanks jack!! Tower 2 will be cool but OLM 2 will be cooler!
Jack and NSF, y'all rock! Peace
Great update with lots of information, thanks Jack and NSF team .
Jack Attack!
Great content as always
The cgi in your simulation is amazing!
good work. thanks for the update.
Thanks Jack!
Bad Jack! Ship 26 rocks! ;)
Thanks for the update, Jack. What would rocket nerds do without NSF?
The first rule of fall protection is:
If you can do the work on the ground, do so, and don't use fall protection.
Fantastic Content as well. these updates are awesome
Imagine when SpaceX is launching nearly 300 times per year between the two rockets. Insane!
Good morning!!
Starbase, the tale of Two Towers 🙂
Thank you Jack Beyer. Love all your presentations on location at the Gateway to Mars.
“Probably going to be a static fire of booster 5 this week.” Well that didn’t take long.
Hi budy 🎉
Welcome back, Jack and please come back some more and more and more and more! Welcome back, Jack! And won't you come back some more ooohhh ooo oo...
Great job. Hat, glasses and scarf works for you. Your team is improving a lot.
No mention of the Ship 33? The new V2/Block 2 nosecone?
Video was probably edited before the nosecone rolled out of star factory
25 a year wooot thats 1 every 2 weeks!!!!!!!

Right here first to like and Hi Jack...whose back !
Good update. Thank you. 🔥🚀🧑🚀🛰️👽🛸
"Two towers" lord of the rings
Merci!
Thanks for the update. Always appreciated.
and I cannot wait for the Return of the King
Thanks
thanks jack for keeping us up dated great job in australia we never hear anything about the rockets
Except from Marcus House, of course.
@nasaspaceflight 10:20 (correction on the weld lines on the side of the new fts box). Those already existed on previous prototypes/boosters you guys kinda noticed that during stream.
Great info 👍🏻😊👏🏻
Thank you Jack!
one of the best summaries
WAY TO GO SPACEX!!!!
Extraordinary 😊❤
It’s wild how out of date the video gets just one day later. Static fire happened, chopstick moved, module 2 stacked. SpaceX moves so fast!
Great Reporting
1 chopstick rolled last night/this morning!
Awe-inspiring 😊
Sorry team but the mic audio was just not clear on this video. Not sure if you’re using on-camera, external mic, overhead + c-stand, or lav…But I would check muffling and perhaps consider a different solution. Just a minor nitpick, keep up the great work!
"Advanced simulation" LOL! *VERY* advanced, done by top teams at NSF! 😆
Who cares how excited you are????we all are. We are also excited. Be excited. Stay excited.
I’m definitely calling them booster booties
Fastest update I’ve EVER heard.
Two Towers - Let the Lord of the Rings references begin.
"One ring section to rule them all"
they were the lord of the ring yard soon comes the two catch towers someday returns the starship -J. R. R. Tolken would be proud
@nasaspaceflight you ought to start calling the raptor nozzle covers muzzles
Yay!
Thanks ❤
Jack!!!
I wonder how fast they will stack tower. I can't imagine it takes that long to stack, I thunk I heard goal is end of August?
V2 hardware too
You mentioned that if they move the QD arm too fast it could damage the tower, what about repeated lifts and catches from the chopsticks?

Love the narrator content.
I miss the claw 16:51
Why does the quick disconnect need to be a swing a way? Why can’t it be a pull straight back?
Hey guys, just one criticism on this episode - audio for Jack is not good. Sounds like he is speaking through a tube i.e. some sort of compression going on? Whatever mike setup you used needs improvement. Just some positive feedback :)
WEEEHOOOO
I hope they put ship 26 outside the office building just to piss of jack lol want to see his reaction
What do you think about a potential bosster hop?
Hopefully its ship 20
is the audio really crunchy on this video or is it just my 14 year old Macbook?
Same for me. I think perhaps he's wearing his lapel mike under his neck scarf.
@@davidb3232 Yep that's it. My bad!
They said they were going to move one ship to the airport. Which one and when do you think?
Well, what if S26 was a no-return vehicle for around-the-Moon fly by test?
6:34 all we need is a few hobbits.
Is the sound muffled this time?
Luv this style of starship update. Stay away from the AI generated voice overs.
What do you reckon to 2 towers and 2 fully stacked starships Jack ? 😂😂😂😂
