@@benoitfishingoutdoorsnot sure how soon you'll have a motor for it but I've changed up my setup some so I have my 4hp available if yall want to borrow it for the rest of the season just shoot me a message.
Nice way to break the new boat in! We have those 'cleats?' mounted also. Use for anchors, tying off at dock or wherever and hanging the underwater light from. They work great. I found early on that one can get too thick of a diameter of rope for them tho but any usual size anchor or dock line will lock in there no problem.
They do work great! Wasn’t sure if there was more of a technical term other than zig zag cleats lol
@@benoitfishingoutdoors No idea their proper name either. lol. We snagged our anchor on bottom one day and I came up with the bright idea I'd fire up the 6hp Evinrude and maneuver around and just pull it loose. BAD idea. The anchor line was still locked in the zigzag cleat of course, had very surprisingly- very quickly got the boat tilted in a very alarming and uncomfortable angle before I realized it and the cleat held fast. No slippage! So they work great. Side note- got off the throttle and quietly severed the anchor line while glancing around to see that no one was watching that stunt. Bought a new anchor next trip to town. ;)
Bass are hard to catch for some reason right now....😢
I bet! we don’t try to catch them but we do all the time when we are bait fishing!
