That out side peace is called a bearing Buddy. There is a rubber cap that goes on the outside of the bearing buddy

Tractor supply for the whole wheelhub 109$ each and napa for castle nut and such!
So does AutoZone. I just changed mine 2 months ago...

Need to tighten that nut tight at first to seat the bearings then back the nut off til loose. Then snug it back up and then back it off just enough to get the pin through hole. Nice job! 😊
