    I’m exactly in that position. Single mom of 3. Ex doesn’t want to help me. I start RN program in less than 2 weeks. God is making a way. I give Him the glory!

    Such a motivational video. Thank you for posting this. I'm a single mom of 22, 19, 7 all boys. 22 has his own life. 19 is in college, I'm really home with my 7 yr old. But been a single mom since my 2 oldest were toddlers. Not easy. I'm 45. Been a CNA for 23 yrs. My life story is soo long I can make a movie. I really needed this. Trying to get into the nursing program. 😩 I'm so scared.

    I’m a single mom and I can definitely relate to your story. I have applied to nursing school plenty of times and did not get accepted, and at times I wanted to give up, but I kept trying and I finally got accepted into nursing school and I start on the 28th of this month. I’m excited and nervous. Never give up on your dreams! Thank you for this video. It inspired me 💕

    I just switched from social work and deduced to get my BSN and then pursue my psych NP. I love your channel. I’m a mom of 3 children. (1,4,6) so I needed this!

      This is so inspiring I want to do the same thing!! Do you have a spouse to help or will you take loans for your journey? I’m looking at grants and scholarships now

    • @ashleyelaine1670
      @ashleyelaine1670 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@autumnonpurpose you’ve got this!! I have a spouse, but honestly it’s all on me. I just keep telling myself on the hard days this is just a season and seasons change. I received financial aid for a few semesters at community college. So I saved everything that was left over. I’m hoping it pays for the first year and after that I’ll have to work to pay for the last 1.5 years. I’m crossing my fingers for no loans but it’s a possibility I obviously haven’t ruled out.
      Where are you looking to attend?

    I literally cried watching this. I start a 12 month accelerated nursing program in August and I have no support as a single mom . I have no clue how I will do it. I can’t imagine spending so much time away from my son.

    This video moved my spirit!! I prayed to God asking how will I do nursing school with no support system, having a 4 yr old and not being able to take her to and from school and having to work and study. Thinking about so much time away from her. I know Jesus will make a way even tho I don’t see it 🥺🙏🏽 I’m just so emotional because it’s what I really want to do for us and just don’t see how I will do it.

    Thank you so much. I’m a single mother of a teenage daughter and just got out of an abusive relationship a couple of months ago. So I’ve been balancing working as a CNA and doing LPN school while healing from the breakup and some days haven’t been easy. Thanks for your positive message-it gave me some motivation to keep going

    Hi, I’m just seeing this post. I’m a single mother of 3 as well and I am also a social worker and switching to nursing. I have always had a passion for helping people and started it years ago but it was so challenging. So I changed my mind about nursing and found social work. I finished that degree and now I am wanting to go back to get my BSN now that my kids are a little older. I feel this is my time to do for me and God will make a way.

    I love this video so much. I am a single mom who has a bachelors degree in Business Administration . I have been contemplating on going back to school to study Nursing since my son was baby . He is 4 now. I know it will be challenging but I want to be able to have a career and have livable income to provide for us not minimum wage. This video is very inspiring to me . I have been trying to figure out to go back to school to study Nursing now that I am a single parent.

      Hey just wanted to say I totally understand, nursing school can be very challenging and emotionally draining. However it’s important to always do what is right for you and what will bring you peace in the end. Sometimes quitting might be an easier option, but doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right one. Write down your pros and cons and outweigh your options sending love your way 💕
