Their concert was the best concert I’ve ever been to. They make their live performances so beautiful and unique, they can easily sound just like their records, but they make them so much better. Also, the musicianship that they bring to their live performances is amazing. I am glad whoever suggested this song because this band is phenomenal. I am definitely going to look more into their stuff. I have two things to say about your breakdown of their performance. 1. The transition from when they were singly sweetly and lovely into the engaged ab active singing was very poignant to me this time. For some reason seeing and hearing it here really clicked with the difference between when you engage your abs and the utility of when you don't. I would love to hear you speak more to that dichotomy of those two instances 2. I really appreciate you talking about ending a note. It is something that I still struggle to do well (at least acapella). When I learned to sing* I was a notorious slider. Any two notes deserved to be slid between and I had a bad habit of it. There are definitely times that I end note and I slide off the note and fade out at the same time when I only intend to fade. So it would be great if you speak to that a little more too. Or do whatever you do, I learn something new every time regardless! Now, that I am finished with my reaction to your reaction I once again want to ask you to react to Tank and the Bangas Tiny Desk Concert.
