To me Pablo probably is the best singer at the moment. He doesn't hide his flamenco roots and mixes them with jazzy elements. There is not a single song by Pablo that is "just average". All of his songs are masterpieces and all of his live performances are incredible. It is a shame, that he isn't as popular outside the hispanic world as he should be...

However, I'd like to thank you for pointing out technical aspects of the song that makes a good performance (dynamics, changes in color, etc.) Yes, this is a love song, where Pablo is promising ("prometo") to his loved one: future, thinges getting better, a relationship, etc. I liked one verse "I promise you that we'll appear in the evening news as a couple that succedded at love". The final sentence is "I promise you we'll become eternal".
I listen to music all over the world, from east Asia to South America. Pablo has been my favorite male singer of all.. his techniques- resonance, breath control, agility, musicality, ability to emote, etc etc is beyond amazing, he is the complete package... The song's called 'I Promise' in english, and it goes about himself promising to his beloved one that their life together will remain the same speaking about love, but will drasticaly change in terms of experiences, is a very beautiful song, just like all of his music 😍
In my own opinion he has got acertado special talent that you can not see in many artists. He is The perfect balance between a good voice control and a powerful sensibility. He can take your breath with each word. Nowadays he is one of the bigest artists in Spain.

Beth music is universal doesn’t need to understand de language to feel emotional and Pablo is all, beautiful performed and Spanish has that beauty with those amazing vocals to express painful emotions .
There is something...I´ll try to explain...in many spaniard singers, the ability to reach intimacy and sensitivity comes from singing "inward" in opposition to "sing out". That capacity is most of the times related to a way of singing flamenco and certain "palos" and it has influenced many Pop spaniard singers. And sometimes is just the natural voice, search María Dolores Pradera as an example of this ability to sing "inward". Love ur videos BTW!

He is amazing! Everything he sings is like this, from the heart. The song is about a relationship that has gone through rough and difficult times. Both people are scarred from this. He, on his side is promising a better tomorrow, a future when they'll be ok again because they loved each other through the disaster when most people would be broken.
He is the single greatest singer recording at this time. His vocal control and quality of voice are insurpassable and the lyrics he creates are stunningly direct to the heart and soul. Pablo Alborán is not pure flamenco, but he is in a second line of composers that begins with PEPE ROCA, the soloist from Alameda - you have several videos - who drinks from this source and adapts it to modern music. Roca makes it to Andalusian rock -you have some songs from Alameda- and Pablo to Pop. For me, the best is Manolo García, soloist of El Último de la Fila -you have several songs by this group-. And I imagine that he inspires Pablo since he is previous. Spain has been trying for centuries to make this: voice modulation and this music that our elders have transmitted to us: Arabic music comprehensible to the Western ear. It unites us to all of North Africa, the Arab countries, the Middle East, the former Soviet republics, India, China, ... even Japan. We all modulate our voices in this oriental way. Yes, Spain has several voice records: 1-classical European: the opera. 2- that of modern music that we create in the Caribbean: Indians + black + Spanish, 3-the india of Mexico 4- the black of the rumba, 5-the Arabic. There is something...I´ll try to explain...in many spaniard singers, the ability to reach intimacy and sensitivity comes from singing "inward" in opposition to "sing out". That capacity is most of the times related to a way of singing flamenco and certain "palos" and it has influenced many Pop spaniard singers. And sometimes is just the natural voice, search María Dolores Pradera as an example of this ability to sing "inward". Love ur videos BTW!

He is amazing! Everything he sings is like this, from the heart. The song is about a relationship that has gone through rough and difficult times. Both people are scarred from this. Pablo Alborán is not pure flamenco, but he is in a second line of composers that begins with PEPE ROCA, the soloist from Alameda - you have several videos - who drinks from this source and adapts it to modern music. Roca makes it to Andalusian rock -you have some songs from Alameda- and Pablo to Pop. For me, the best is Manolo García, soloist of El Último de la Fila -you have several songs by this group-.
