Here’s the amazing part, he’s one of many talented singers in mariachi Vargas, after this song he simply goes back to his guitar and another singer steps up 🤯
You must hear the king of bolero, Javier Solis, the most marvelous voice. Please give it a try and you will see one of the greatest singers Mexico has ever produced, 🤩 VIVA MEXICO!!!!!!
Yes please do Javier Solis he was nicknamed El Rey del Bolero which translates to The King of Bolero. Frank Sinatra was a big fan of him and wanted to sing with him but because the both belonged to different record companies it never happed. Suggestions: En tu Pelo Grabada Esclavo y amo Just to name a few, he passed away at the age of 33 at the pick of his career. Thank you so much I was one of the many that requested El Pastor and it always gives me goosebumps when I listen to it. I saw them in person without the big Orquestra and they received a standing ovation when the finished singing El Pastor.
when I grew up, the city, fancy people would go to orchestra concerts, the peasants would go to country bands shows (mariachi). The fact they are singing together is...amazing
Mr. Arturo Vargas ( the singer of this master piece) and also Steven Sandoval both of them are extraodinary , thanks for this reaction . The Mariachi Vargas de Tecatiltan was founded in 1898 , so imagine the tradition , the expertice .
Oh my goodness!!!!!! Where do I start?!!! First, Arabe Guapo, thank you so much for this incredible video on Arturo Vargas and El Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan, Jalisco. They are truly incredible and like you mentioned, the best Mariachi in the world. This Mariachi dates back to its first generation from 1898-1930. in fact, one of my great aunt's father used to play with them way back in the 1930s. According up to date there have been 5 phases or generations of Mariachi Vargas. I also feel so honored and grateful because Tecalitlan, Jalisco is a neighboring town from where my parents and I was born. Also, because of the fact we grew up in a family for love of music, mother country and culture, my younger daughter learned how to play the guitar as a very young child age. At 9 she was in a Mariachi and a few years later actually got to meet Mariachi Vargas. Now she's an amazing Flamenco Guitarist. It's just so amazing how music plays such an important part in the lives of us all and how sometimes it makes that complete circle where it starts somewhere and it brings you back to your roots to bring you home to the center where it began. I also must say with so much honor, respect and love that Mexico is a country that has so much to give, is all heart and soul. From this country, it has seen and given many great artist of song and music. Please react to Javier Solis, the man with the velvet voice and one of the best voices of Mexico. and while at it, to Steven Sandoval, another of Mariachi Vargas singers/musician, and Rosy Arango. You will not be disappointed. God bless you and those you love. Ole tuu!!!💗🙏😌
“The music comes from heaven, the song comes from men, Joy is born from the people’s ground And Mariachi is its name.” “Marmolejo, Vargas and Villa told the good Lord; We are going to make a Mariachi from which there will be more than two.” J.G. My Divo said it best!!. Sending my love ♥️♥️♥️
I've seen Mariachi Vargas in my hometown of Laredo, Texas and a live performance by them IS perfection. Each one is a master on their instrument but also some of the best singers in the world both as soloists or as a group. When one of them leaves to form their own Mariachi group, another equally talented musician will join their group. They play and share Mariachi music all over the world, but also can play all kinds of music including Classical Music.
I’ve seen Mariachi Vargas many times and several times in Guadalajara Mexico. I’ve seen Arturo sing El Pastor a couple of times in Guadalajara with the Symphony Orchestra. Both times I sat in the first row and was amazed with his voice. He is truly a master and Mariachi Vargas are the best mariachi ever. These mariachis are such professionals, the violins kill me😊❤️
The Shepherd The shepherd goes with his flock At the break of dawn Descending down the path From the mountains to the meadow He melodizes his complaints With his little reed flute Followed by his sheep As if under a spell The flute Of the shepherd When herding Sings like this The shepherd is already on his way back As the Sun is setting He's climbing up the slope To guard his flock With his flute he's calling One by one his sheep And he's communicating His joys and sorrows The flute Of the shepherd Sings like this
I love how you get so happy and excited to listen to Mexico's best singers and how you have your respect and admiration for them. Thank you! I love your show! ❤😊
Hola querido Árabe man! 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
I had the privilege of listening to them at the Degollado Theater in Guadalajara Jalisco, during the international mariachi meeting. The best mariachis in the world were on stage. It was amazing!
According to several mexican mariachi singers, this El Pastor song it is the most difficult song to sing. And Arturo Vargas sing it incredibly . I most say that Mariachi Vargas de Tecamitlan, it is a Family Mariachi Band from many generations., abd it is recognized around the world.
Hola! I appreciate your appreciation for Spanish/Mexican music. El Pastor is a beautiful song! You must play the same song with Estela Nuñez! She has an amazing voice range for falcetes...Love her musical talent. I'm sure, you would too... Blessings!
You got to react to Steven Sandoval performs Por Amor at the Lila Cockrell in 2012 as his last performance with the world's preeminent Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitian. He’s truly amazing, his voice will truly pierce your heart
I’ve seen them perform 2 years ago and it was a unique experience. I loved that I found someone react to my favorite song with my favorite modern day rendition.
Dear Abdallah 'Boudy' Boustany (Arab Man Reacts), Shukran for sharing, commenting and reacting to this beautiful Mexican song. Yes, it is magical, legendary, superb, etc.. We (Mexicans) are very proud of this song, and of our Mariachi music, in general. Last night (October 25th, 2024) I had the fortune of attending a concert at Auditorio Nacional (in Mexico City) by Mariachi Vargas and enjoying on live this treasure! You can not imagine my feelings. Simply amazing. I think in Lebanon you also have such kind of treasures, like "Kalimat" by Majoda Al Roumi ( th-cam.com/video/ITS1faL7Pfc/w-d-xo.html ). About 10 years ago I wanted to attend one of her concerts but unfortunately I couldn´t. The very first Iistened to that song while I was beginning to study arabic, I had it in my head for 2-3 days and I could not stop listining to it. Even I kind of learned the lyrics and translated it. Simply "Kalimat" at the end !! ;-) I strongly recommend you (and everyone who is reading this) to check "El Cascabel" ( th-cam.com/video/73eL52Q8W0M/w-d-xo.html ) by Mariachi Vargas as well. Thank you for showcasing Mexican mariachi music. I recommend you look at a classic, Pedro Infante, Jacalito. Infante was a singer/actor from the Mexican golden era of cinema. He died in a plane crash in his 40s. His funeral was attended by literally hundreds of thousands of people.

Arturo Vargas, the singer, once said he had trained in deep-sea diving to help him control his breathing, or so I´ve heard. Come to Mexico and enjoy this type of entertainment...
A great and impressive performance of this beautiful song. I highly recommend you react to this same song by El Pastor, performed by Alberto Ángel El Cuervo, I assure you that you will find it equally beautiful and impressive. Greetings and a hug from Mexico City.

You need to look up the words, too. It's about a Shepard and his sheep. Beautiful.
The most talented and wonderful mariachi that ever played on God’s green earth. 🥰
The Shepherd
The shepherd goes with his flock
At the break of dawn
Descending down the path
From the mountains to the meadow
He melodizes his complaints
With his little reed flute
Followed by his sheep
As if under a spell
The flute
Of the shepherd
When herding
Sings like this
The shepherd is already on his way back
As the Sun is setting
He's climbing up the slope
To guard his flock
With his flute he's calling
One by one his sheep
And he's communicating
His joys and sorrows
The flute
Of the shepherd
Sings like this
I love how you get so happy and excited to listen to Mexico's best singers and how you have your respect and admiration for them. Thank you! I love your show! ❤😊

Love your reactions keep up the great work.
You should react to Aida Cuevas with this same song, she is worth listening to also. I think you will enjoy it.
Arturo Vargas, the singer, once said he had trained in deep-sea diving to help him control his breathing, or so I´ve heard. Come to Mexico and enjoy this type of entertainment...

You need to hear Pedro Infante's falsetto in: "el jacalito", the best. ❤
A great and impressive performance of this beautiful song. I highly recommend you react to this same song by El Pastor, performed by Alberto Ángel El Cuervo, I assure you that you will find it equally beautiful and impressive. Greetings and a hug from Mexico City.
