Drake is my Favourite Pirate in the fate Series, Because she has the skill Pioneer of the stars and I really love the skill Pioneer of the Stars because it is a skill given to Servants who are a key part of Turning points in Human History like Drake and Tesla,etc
Obviously Drake since she was the first 5 star servant I ever got.
I just realize something:
Most rider servant so far often care alot for their chosen master.
-Drake care for shinji in extra.
-Iskandar and Waver in Zero.
-Medusa care alot for Sakura in Heaven Feel.
- Astofo and Sig in Fate Apocrypha.
That's generally because Riders are the free spirit types so there easy to get along with as long as your not actively pushing there buttons.
I'm sure Achilles would be similar if his master wasn't forced to give up his command spells to Amakusa. Least he's a bro to us in game.
The same is true for some Casters: Medea still holds a torch for “Souichiro-sama,” Bluebeard adores Ryuunosuke, Nursery Rhyme breaks the rules of how she works by taking the form of her former Master Alice, Tamamo’s defining redemptive trait is her love for Hakuno, and SPOILERGEDDON!!!

Simply because of Drake was Okeanous my favorite of the singularities from arc one until I got to Camelot.
Drake is best pirate. I mean, look at her assets, include high attack stats, good hp, and good skills that boost atk/np as well as np gain and charge.

here in Chile some citys to north from where I live there is a monument to Drake (in the city of Coquimbo) and the legend say that in some place rest her treasure, and apart from Drake some others pirates came to the city and thanks to that the place is know as "Pirate Harbor" even the football team "Coquimbo Unido" have a Pirate in the logo
Here in Richmond VA we have a street called Francis Drake Drive. I always think of her when I pass by it.
One thing that kind of bugs me about Drake is the genderbending, and not for the reason you think. A fierce female pirate captain with red hair? Why not just make her Grace O'Mally? An actual pirate queen?

I kinda wish the Pirate, Ching Shih will become a 5 star Rider in fgo why? She was the most sucessful Pirate in history and if they made a good design and give her good skills... fgo will earn a lot of money XD...
I'm sure she would Definitely have skills like Voyager of the storm and Golden Rule. Maybe another skill based around one of her strategies against the Chinese navy

You know Francis Drake had an amazing life I wish that ring was actual real from Uncharted "sic parvis Magna" "greatness from Small Beginnings" so true.

Nah, not the asshole feeling-superior asshole that isn't even a magus 17-year old Matou Shinji, but a rough-around-the-edges tsundere genius that's one heck of a wizard and also one of Asia's top gamers 8-year old Matou Shinji.
Ok I just had a Thought Entirely Unrelated to Francis Drake but I had to ask about another Servant.
Heracles was summoned as a Berserker, but originally he wasn't meant to be that but qualified due to his bouts of Hera induced madness. We know he has other forms (Archer being One), but does that mean Berserker Heracles could technically be considered an Alter Form of Either Archer Heracles or some other version of him?
An Alter is a specific thing, not just a Servant in a different class. It usually refers to a corrupted version of the Servant, usually via the Grail. While Alcides DID end up being Altered, that's not because he manifested as an Archer, because he was originally a just a noble man. It took three command seals (yes, the master used all three in seconds) and the uncanny ability to manipulate the mud of the Grail to Alter him.
Otherwise, it's just the same Servant, with any personality differences being because of the age the Servant is manifested as (Cu Chulainn is a lot more laid back as a Caster, because he's implied to be old enough to outgrow some of the personality traits of his younger Lancer selves).
Actually, Cu is probably a good case study in Alters, because in Cu Alter's Interlude, Lancer-Cu specifically says that the Berserker Cu we summon explicitly ISN'T what he's manifest as if he was naturally summoned as a Lancer.
But to answer your question, Berserker-Herc isn't an Alter, he's just effected by Madness Enhancement.
I didn’t mean that he’s an Alter just because he’s a Berserker. I believe he’s an Alter because the condition he’s in most likely isn’t natural. Cu as a Berserker is still able to think and his legend actually has him transforming into a monster not unlike Berserker Herc While Heracles in his Legend Heracles only went into a frenzy because of outside influence.
I’m saying that Berserker Heracles as we see him in Stay Night might be different because of being summoned forcibly as a Berserker rather then what he was supposed to be. It’s also likely that connection to the grail thing could be present given the Grail was in Illya, Heracles’ Master. And given that we see Alter’s that are the Same Class as a pre existing version, it’s possible there might be a different Berserker Heracles that’d be in more control or fall more in line with Heracles’ other versions. So I’d say, if he was an Alter, he’s the one closest to the original. Maybe representing the Rage Hera forced upon them with some elements of there “Normal” Self.
Now whether you think Stay Night Heracles is technically an Alter or not, do you think we’ll eventually see Non Berserker Versions of Heracles in FGO? Heracles used plenty of Weapons in his life so he could qualify as Saber, Lancer, Rider, And we absolutely know he can be Archer given he does have a version that is one.
@@Master_E444 I may be remembering wrong, but Heracles was summoned as a Berserker intentionally, to combine the power that comes with one of the most famous heroes of all time with Madness Enhancement granting even greater power, backed up by the insane magic circuits of Ilya, to make up for the insane prana cost. He was said to be able to be summoned as any class except Caster, with Archer being the one best suited, but the Einzbergs decided to do some min-maxxing and go for Berserker.
Also, when I mentioned a connection to the Grail, I was referencing either corruption by the mud (like Saber and Archer-Herc in FSF) or directly conjured by the Grail through a wish (like Jalter in Orleans or Cu Alter in America).
@@GSSAGE7 I'm saying that, yes Heracles could be a Berserker, but the one we see isn't 100% how he's meant to be normally. I'd imagine the Einzberns amplified the Mad Enhancement beyond it's normal parameters and that at least partially contributes to his differing nature. I think that the Grail being in Illya could very easily be enough of a connection to influence a Servant mid summon and turn Berserker into an Alter form since it did influence an already summoned servant in Artoria. If they tried to summon him as a different Servant Class such as Lancer, Rider, or Archer (his best 1) then it likely would be far more noticeable that he was different since he'd be able to communicate. It'd actually be interesting to see his real personality.
If I had to hazard a guess at what Heracles unaltered in any way would be like, I'd say he'd be more fatherly and heroic sort of like Iskander but more peaceful since he'd likely be tired of fighting after his trails. Likely he'd still be just as protective but doesn't want to go on the offensive unless he had to like when Fighting Gilgamesh. In fact this would make sense since the Einzberns would not approve of a passive guardian unwilling to take out the other masters and servants. In terms of abilities, I doubt he'd really be much weaker without Mad Enhancement and if I remember right, he didn't have access to all his noble phantasms in Stay Night as a (potentially Alter) Berserker so he'd possibly be stronger with access to those.
@@Master_E444 Ilya isn't fully connected to the Greater Grail (and thus, isn't linked to Angra Manyu and it's corrupting mud) at the time of Berserker's contracting.
Sakura, on the other hand, specifically had fragments of Iris's Grail implanted in her, which already was corrupted in the Fourth War's endgame.
Besides, we SEE what a Blackened Berserker looks like in Heaven's Feel (he'll appear in the next movie).
As for not being weak without ME, you need to understand that the Einzbergs have a TERRIBLE track record, with the Fourth War being the only time they made it to the end, and THAT was because of Kiritsugu's strategies and Saber's sheer power.
And while as an Archer, he'd be better, they decided thay they wanted, to borrow a PlagueOfGripes reference, "a really big number". That's why, if you check his parameters as a Berserker, his lowest stat is B-ranked Luck.

Drake nee-san is so awesome. That's why, I'm mad how she lost in the Last Encore. It didn't make sense at all. There was too much plot armor. When Drake used her NP, Nero wasn't able to evade the shots with ease. Then, she used Imperial Privilege to hit Drake's ship which resulted in Drake stumbling and being out of focus. Instead of that being the cause of Drake's defeat, it became unneccesary. Instead of Nero attacking at that moment, she didn't. Drake was able to focus in battle again before Nero attacked. How could Nero evade and one shot Drake with ease when she couldn't at the beginning? LOL.
Rusted servant. Remember that _every_ servant in fgo have one dialog of "take me to quest!"? Because if they didn't, all their abilities _can_ be rusted. And that include servant's _luck_ .
@@masuahmadin7511im pretty sure it was to contrast fate extra in extra shinji was supplying drake with money in last encore he is not this is a problem for drake as it stops her from her profilerate pillaging activation (in extra you actually have to chase down fortune in a race vs shinji and the more they obtain the stronger they because shinji was not a rich wizard) (also wizard is a thing in this this world and not magus because cyber-wording I guess imgur.com/dOGxF6W )

If you want to get into a series that has an expansive world and lore without being convuluted, A+ characters, great music, satisfying sense of continuation, GET INTO Falcom's "TRAILS" SERIES. For the record it has great gameplay in case anyone was concerned. DaiKun has played the Ys series before which is their other awesome more action-driven series. But as fans of Fate, I'm sure you're attracted to story driven games. The Trails series is best for this, in addition to it's fun turn based gameplay. BEGIN WITH "TRAILS IN THE SKY."
