Ahhh, Anne and Mary. One thing I don't get is how come Rider Mary has Anne's alignment when Mary is the frontline, and Archer Anne gets Mary's alignment when she's the frontline.
2 Servants who share the same Gaint Graph, the Yuri Pirates would eventually cement their niche as the "high risk, high reward" gameplay the two of them along with Hijikata would be well known for. And this is even before a certain scumbag Caster, would later exploit their near-death damage boost and utilizing Guts, to make their power levels reach their maximum potentials.
I still remember the anne and mary from assassins creed IV black flag, 2 womans very similars, but in fgo one is a "loli" and the other a "oneesan"... artist have different views of the world...
Now that FGO has Anne & Mary, Francis Drake, Blackbeard, and Bartholomew Roberts, there's one other pirate servant that the game needs: Cheng Shih, a female Chinese pirate who lived during the Qing Dynasty. She plundered the Chinese seas with huge army of pirates until being defeated by the Portugese Navy, but was pardoned and allowed to retire with all of her riches and wealth in tact, making her one of, if not THE, most successful pirate in history. Her fleet of ships, said to consist of 1800 vessels at the MOST, would be her Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.
I was glad I summoned both versions during the summer rerun banner. They may not be the best members of their class, but I love their relationship with each other and the master.
I feel like these two really embody the romanticism of piracy, in a good way. Feel unfulfilled is life? Take to the seas and begin a life of adventure!

That was an interesting look back of the lives of other busty pirate and petite pirate. And while my one friend gets one part annoyed/one part interested in the series(trust me it is a long story), at least the interesting parts of the lore of each servant makes it fascinating to go into. Good job!

The dynamic duo of Anne Bonny & Mary Read are interesting I have their Summer Archer form sadly I couldn't get their normal Rider form. Edit: not sure how long it will take to get Medusa Lancer I'm hoping to get her sooner rather than later though.

Great video! I've always thought these two were really interesting tales in actual history, so I'm glad TypeMoon brought them to Fate. Honestly, I wish they had more strong females from history... Instead of randomly gender bending so many characters. A few are okay (I find Artoria and Da Vinci to be the most appealing stories), but when every other female servant is a gender bent character, it gets old. Especially when it seems like they gave so little thought to WHY they are gender bent. Like, Paul Bunyon? Really? Let's see people like Harriet Tubman, Esther from the Bible, Sacagawea, any of England's Queens, etc. Before we see anymore gender bent males 🙄

@HaloRocks You'd be surprised at the fact Nasu is not against husbandos. He's the one who came up with the original Arthur and Takeuchi had to convince him to change him to Artoria. He's also the one who made an entire arc revolving around Archer and Shirou, who has made countless stories about Gilgamesh being the most awesome thing in existence, and he is the one who made Camelot revolve around Bedivere's quest. I think the common joke, is that Takeuchi is the source of all weird ideas in the Nasuverse, and it seems accurate considering he's the reason there's so many genderbent Saberfaces.
