2011 was definitely a sad year for Disney channel. Hannah Montana & Suite Life ended. Sonny with a Chance was cancelled abruptly & Wizards was in its last season. New shows like ANT Farm, Austin & Ally, & Jessie all premiered that year and the new era began
Crazy because I was in middle school when high school musical came out and that was cool but I realized after camp rock everything started to look really “set-ty”
Seeing characters like London get Flanderized and dumber as season went on was tragic. However, on many episodes there was little shortage of complex and nuanced characters. Exploring Woody and Mr. Mosbey deeper was a delight

I even had stacks of VHS tapes with nothing but That's So Raven on them, episodes I recorded off tv, so that I can enjoy them when I wanted to. what things do you mean that made him an idiot? i agree that cody shouldn't have been done like that as much. maddy was cool but realistically she wouldve gone to college while london stayed back. i dont consider the movie part of the canon cuz it's highkey weird
Still watching on Disney Plus😔
I remember thinking the same thing when I was little like wtf
6:30 video for a simple answer of: “disney wouldn’t let them be producers so they took their business elsewhere”
I thought I was the only one who still bops to Phineas and Ferb songs-
this show is the reason i love going on cruises
Dylan and Cole also went to NYU and Dylan owns his own meadery
Lmaoo I thought I was watching an ad when u talked about the sponsor
I stopped watching around 2012 when teen beach movie came out I’m glad cause it went downhill after that
Camille that was the last okay Disney movie
@@Maliya08 no.2 made me want to castrate myself
Wait. The original only got 3 seasons?!? It always felt like it was going on forever 😮
The original for 3 seasons but 87 episodes. 2nd season had 40 episodes. It was a long show.
The sequel had 71 episodes.
158 in total
never trust anyone who pronounces especially like "EXPEXSHIALLY"
So did it end bc they weren’t getting credit as producers? This didn’t really give an answer to the title of this video like what?
I’m just gonna say, Cole is a snack
Can we talk about Eddie after That’s So Raven...
KillerReven oof I just read this, “Brown was arrested in Torrance, California, and charged with misdemeanor, domestic battery, obstruction of justice, drug possession with intent to sell, and having contraband in jail” WOW. I did not know that.
I was wondering why he hadn't shown up in Raven's home.
Yeah we've heard enough. 😫
The ad ends at 2:40
You’re welcome!
Every time I watch this show I get sad because I think about how kirby passed away a few years ago ):
Who remembers that crossover though?
Wizards on a deck with Hannah Montana
lmao that VPN advertisement was nearly 1/3 of this video run time, not the smoothest
The thing I will always like most about the Sprouse twins is that they were young when they left Disney. But they left completely on their own terms without ever ignoring their own principels. They wanted to make a show. Disney wasn’t interested in it. They wanted to produce the show Disney wanted to do instead. Disney didn’t let them do that, or at least not give them credit for it. So they left. There’s some mad respect for them right there.
Skip to 2:48 that’s when the video actually starts lmfao
honestly disney use to teach lessons ..😭 they taught us everything isn’t all candy and rainbows😗. Disney now doesn’t prepare new generation’s for adult life
1) REMEMBER WHEN SUITE LIFE ON ZACK AND CODY DID THE EPISODE ABOUT BODY IMAGE AND EATING DISORDERS??
2) remember those crossover episodes that rivaled the mcu
I really love that episode!
which episode?
I wouldn’t call riverdale a “success”
But it is?.......
You may not like it, but A LOT of people do. And it brings in tons of money or it wouldn’t have a 4 seasons, let alone 2
@@melit. money doesn't = good, that show gets grilled 24/7 the plot and God awful characters are a good enough reason not to watch it.
Ibrezzly TV I watch it, and again some people like the show. It’s a matter of opinion you think it’s trash for your reasons and I think the show is good for my reasons.
And regardless if you think the show is good has nothing to do with it being a success.
If it brings in money, a lot of people like it, and if the person working on the show likes working on it, then it’s a success.
@@melit. good points
You didn’t really answer the question in the title. And girl, that ad you shoe horned in. I cackled.
almost 1/2 of the vídeo is filler and the add, WTF??
This was one of the laziest videos I’ve ever watched
Early 2000’s kids and teen shows had so much depth.
This shit 🧢🧢🧢 the show didn’t end “abruptly”
I was always confused why London was so much older than Zack and Cody at the hotel but a similar age on the ship
they reference it in the prom episode. tutweiler mentioned that london had been prom queen multiple times at her other proms. she stayed back while maddy went to college
I loved Zac so much. I used to think I was gonna marry him lol
Felt that about zac Efron when hsm came out
I can see Selena Gomez working really in the show. Her and Dylan had such great chemistry on the crossover episode
yesss
The wise words “NO RUNNING IN MY HALL” will hold a special place in my heart
Suite Life on deck/ zack and Cody was 🔥
Honestly I’m glad the spin off didn’t work out because I don’t think they would be getting mature roles or be taken seriously in the acting world
Because Riverdale has done so much for Cole Sprouse? People think it's a joke.
Shaun Fergus I’m not saying that Riverdale did so much for Cole I’m saying if they want to go for more mature roles they couldn’t if they had stayed longer because no one will take them serious that’s all I’m saying
I honestly miss those guys I felt like they were my best friends. I would love to see them work together again in the future. Zack and Cody was my life. Going through both shows brings me back to a time when I was happy and ignorant of how cruel this world can be. I hope whatever they're doing now, they get the admiration they deserve.
Nice comment.. glad you have post it!
to be honest i'm starting to notice that male disney stars are more likely to end up in a good place in society's eyes whereas the female disney stars all have to prove themselves and get what seems to be the shitty end of the stick from society no matter what.
I don't understand why disney has stopped producing shows and movies with actual valuable lessons. Movies like "The color of friendship" tackled important issues in an understandable way for children. Its sad because because the kids of today need that now more than ever. All they have is tik tok🙄
While I’m binge watching this 💀
That’s my first thing I’m gonna do when I get Disney+
Jello
SomePerson Online hello
Wizard of Waverly place and that so raven used to be my show
Istg, If the ending to the show wasn't dumb downed as much, it would've been the most memorable Disney Channel endings imo
this was all a vpn ad-
also remember in shake it up like in the last season their sweet 16 episode, cece was being a brat and disrespecting her mom but then her mom finally snapped back and was being a good mother cece learned her lesson to be appreciative of what she has
Dude I get you need to have sponsors and everything but don't make it literally half of your video
Bruh present day Disney is boring, dumb, and WAYYYY TOO DRAMAATIC!!!!!!!!! Remember when watching tv was just fun adventures and actually funny jokes? Now it’s just “my parents are actually my grandparents” or “my boyfriend say hello to another girl like I hate it
2011 was definitely a sad year for Disney channel.
A whole video just to learn that it was because Disney wouldn't give them a producers credit + to watch a lame VPN sponsorship. Content getting dry?
I was really young when suite life on deck came out but I watched it on Netflix in 2013 so it was technically part of my childhood
Seeing characters like London get Flanderized and dumber as season went on was tragic. However, on many episodes there was little shortage of complex and nuanced characters. Exploring Woody and Mr. Mosbey deeper was a delight
Although I was in my 20's during this era of Disney Channel shows, I always found them entertaining, must see tv. I even had stacks of VHS tapes with nothing but That's So Raven on them, episodes I recorded off tv, so that I can enjoy them when I wanted to. And you know that had to be a lot, when you think about how much these shows were broadcast everyday. This was the last era of Disney Channel shows I could get into.
Good taste!
Didn’t they have a whole suit life on Deck movie? wasn’t that the ending.. I mean it was sad the mom and dad couldn’t make it. It yea it ended
I’ve been rewatching the Suite Life series and there’s so many jokes that wouldn’t be seen as appropriate now. New Disney could never
when he said "Selena Gomez" I was like "omg omg omg are they gonna bring back Wizards Of A Waverly Place? plLEaSe" cuz that show was my FAVORITE.
I prefer the original show to be honest because obviously no arwin no esteabon ,no Carey and especially no Maddie and got replaced with Bailey like tf it is what it is tho
i miss this era
A whole intro 3 min of this video is irrelevant 🙄🙄🙄
I love Suite life on Deck! It was so good I binge watched it for years before Disney plus and binge watching now. It was really excellent one of the last good shows and tbh I don’t think it ended that abruptly. Disney’s loss but they had a good run and I’m glad Cole is still acting and I’m REALLY GLAD they went to college after the show ended. Brenda stars in a show on Hulu that I really like and Debbie is marrying that guy from 21 pilots, got Jessie for 4 seasons (I think) and has insatiable now. I’m really proud of this cast
i always thought the new disney shows didnt hit cos im grown and have nostalgia for the old shows.... but fr these shows now are nothing compared to the og ones
