    Awesome video Matt! For the LED you mentioned Solex and I tried looking it up but couldn't find anything on it. Is it just a regular constant LED? Can you use RGB LEDs instead of gelling a white one? Thanks again!

    • @MattHernandez
      @MattHernandez  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Westcott actually just discontinued the Solex I believe. They also came out with the L120-B, which I’ll be doing a new video on soon. I highly recommend that one!

    • @MattHernandez

      Yes, you could totally use an RGB!

    Thanks for another great one Matt. Can I float an idea to see if you think it’d work. I have a camera trigger and, of course, flask trigger. Set camera to bulb. Depress camera trigger and hold. When she gets to peak action, manually trigger strobe. Any problems you think of? Thanks.

      No it was pretty dark for the most part. The LED should be the only thing on.

    Love all your work, Matt! I was wondering how big your backdrop was for this shot. I know the comments say X-Drop, but it appears to be something else in the video. Is it an 8x8? Also, what ws the actual color of the fabric she was using? I couldn't tell it is was all blue and the green LED was changing the color, or if it tapered from blue to white. Thanks

    • @MattHernandez
      @MattHernandez  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s the 9x20 Westcott fabric backdrop. Sorry I need to change that. Thanks for letting me know! Here’s the link:

    What gels did you use? And how did you mount them with the softbox? Great video as always. Thanks!

    • @MattHernandez
      @MattHernandez  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! These are Rosco gels. I just taped them on the front, but you have to make sure as little light leaks out as possible that’s not gelled. That causes your color to lose saturation.

    @MattHernandez, so I have an A7IV and using GODOX flashes. V1S speed flash and AD200, AD300 and AD400. I have not been able to get rear curtain sync to work with my V1S on camera which is when I want to use it. Do you know is the only way to use rear curtain is with flash off the camera and using the trigger? I know I have to go into menu 16 and physically turn on the rear curtain sync in the camera. But, every time I try seems the flash still acts as fill flash and will not delay. Thanks for your videos and time.

    • @MattHernandez
      @MattHernandez  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m sorry I’m not familiar with those lights. I know on my westcott lights I have to change the flash to rear curtain on the trigger. I’d call the manufacturer and ask them or email them.
