Madeline - Imagine a person who grew up in the foster kid system, being bounced around from one place to the next, never really having a chance to build relationships with anyone who might be able to teach them all those skills, concepts, habits, and techniques that successful parents take the intentional time to teach their children as they're growing up... that person then ages out of the system, goes on to college and lives in the dorms because that's the best option for a roof over their head, but they're so far behind that they do their best to catch up, but they don't know what they don't know so they don't know the right questions to ask and the right places to look for help. They then graduate and get into their 30's and 40's and still feel so far behind because they just never got those foundational life lessons that so many other kids grow up getting, let alone, the life lessons many learn in college because they were set up so well for success by their parents before they even got there... so they're still behind and still struggling. THAT is me - and THAT is thousands of other people, believe it or not. What I would give to see you put together a complete video series that really digs in deep, starts with the basics, and then works its way up to learning how successful adults set themselves up for a well prepared and prosperous life. What are the habits they do each day? How do they organize they life and themself too? What do successful people know about money that poor people don't seem to get? What are those things successful people do differently that set them apart? I think you get where I'm going... I would sure love to see you do a full complete video series on basically, how to adult and how to adult successfully - there are so many more people out there who need this just as much as I do. I'm just the only one saying it. Any chance you'd be willing to do something of that nature? I'd sure be grateful if you did. (I need a step by step kind of game plan... I missed it all growing up.)
I take 1 hour every morning to declutter. I think I have given away half my belongings and every week for a year I’m still at it . I give it all away to another with not wanting anything in return-- it feels so good 🥰
I'm enjoying your videos; thanks! Your tips are reasonable and work. Yesterday I watched several decluttering videos by someone else, and over half of what she hated and thought was useless were things I enjoy and use often. Just not on the same wave length with her at all. I agree with your suggestions and find them very useful.
I wear mismatch socks around the house, so I don’t mess up all my good socks I have. I don’t care if they don’t match if they’re holy I throw them away, but I wear them around the house so I don’t wear out my good ones. I clear out my box of emails every morning and unsubscribe the stuff. I didn’t even know I subscribed. I rarely have any emails now. I donated a bunch of blankets to the animal shelter so they could use them for the dogs and cats in the winter time. I Decluttered all my glasses, all my dishes, all my plastic cups, all the wine glasses that I don’t use anymore and also I have Decluttered all my pots and pans, and all my casseroles, even crockpots and items I thought I might need to cook with in the kitchen. I declared all of those because I do not hardly cook much anymore . another thing I’ve declutter is cookbooks. I used to collect cookbooks not anymore. I don’t keep plastic. I don’t buy plastic. I am now in the processing of decluttering a whole bedroom .
Inbox zero here. I retain very few long term, like household items that are not used and I get rid of, the deleted emails are not missed. I did a mug survey and eviction recently, I do not miss a single one.
My parents used to rotate our toys and books 2 or 3 times a year. It made easier to limit them, clean up etc. then when they switched them out we were excited to play with “new” items.
The boxes for us usually means warranty for the product. You have to have it together with the bill. All the major companies have that written (like for mixers, hair dryers, vacuuming, ironing..)
Another great video Madeline - thank you. I have been on my decluttering journey for a few years now and you really inspire me to be more thorough and let go of items that are just taking up space physically and mentally in my mind ❤ We are only having soy wax candles ❤ we are decreasing purchasing cleaning products from shops and I will be making my own products as they will be toxic free and overall cheaper ❤
Can you talk about how to convince your partner to declutter 😂 mine is holding on to everything 😅 I do sometimes declutter secretly because we have so much stuff 😂😂😂
From my understanding it’s the paraffin wax that’s bad for you. Non-toxic candles are made out of natural wax, like soy wax, coconut wax, and usually scented with essential oils. 💛

Yeees, I decluttered so many of those things too. Thank you for watching!
All your socks should be good socks. You should feel well from the toe to the top❤️

That’s awesome. We do toy rotation too 😊
I need to go through my mugs! I love quirky/pretty ones and they've multiplied of late!

Thank you so much ❤❤❤
Thank you for being here! 💛
I am putting aside books I don't think I'll read and regifting.
Do you have a link to the candles in your video?❤
How can I tell if candles are toxic or not?
