Water in Aquarium gets good bacteria so it should be changed atleast after 1 week or so.
India first when i will start grooming for my Goldfish i will perform 10 to 15% water change daily. And i will explain in that video that it is important 🙂 And also i would like say that water me bacteria nahi hota hai Bacteria survives on a surface or your hardscape and media's.

Friendly aquarium bacteria include the scavenging, decomposing bacteria digesting uneaten fish food, plant matter, dead algae, and basically everything that consist of organic matter. The nitrifying bacteria aka nitrifiers aka beneficial bacteria, convert ammonia (resulting from bacterial activity, fish waste etc.)
Yeaaa correct and for that reason we put Biological Medias in our aquarium so we can say that 95% of bacterias or even more survive on Medias and when i am changing my Aquarium water every 3 days its because i have increased the amount and no. of feeding which will ultimately increase the Ammonia and Nitrites and so Changing water frequently is imp.
While changing water, what amit bhai says is at the most 30% water change, because dilution of ammonia & nitrite helps reducing toxic substances.
