- I had a totally nutty gambling experience, and then I was hungry so I am gonna tell you about it in my hotel room over some Fish and Chips.

Hi DtM I lived in England for quite a few years, the British eat it with salt & vinegar, just to let you know ~ just a little bit of vinegar on the top of the fish, not dipping it all in😅
Ellis Island fish & chips 10x better at far less cost. Just the way it is.
The regular fish and chips is very good but the lobster isn't that good fried..

Way way too much vinegar. Usually you just do a few dashes on top of the whole fish

I refuse to be ripped off! soda in a restaurant is like a billion percent markup... I would sit there feeling violated throughout the whole meal. crying in the booth while other customers wonder what is wrong with that guy with the hat?

We got a chance to meet Ramsey at the Adele concert. He was sitting very close to us. He was very gracious and tumble to the people coming up to him. He chatted with them, took selfies and was very generous with his time. We were shocked and pleasantly surprised. My friend was born in the same hospital as him in Scotland. He was very touched that she told him that story. Guess his tv persona is very different then in real life. Nice to see tbh.

I like the malt ginger only lightly, I also like tartar sauce too. Ketchup is an option too, depends on my mood. Fried lobster is over rated. Enjoyed the video. 👍👍🤣

Next time try playing at the local casinos with that thousand dollar marker. They will be thrilled to have a “whale “ like you. Heck some of them will even send a limo to pick you up and have you stay in a suite.

Moral of the story ….. always chase your losses
This is why I don't gamble in Vegas. Too stressful.
Fish and chips with a vinegar based condiment - whether it’s ketchup, tomato sauce, malt vinegar or even a pickled onion - is one of life’s great pleasures.
All good fish and chips need a sprinkling of malt vinegar and salt. Then...like me ... ounces of pepper.

I'm leaving this video early because I am a malt vinegar girl. Ketchup is my Canadian side but not on fish.
Okay, staying in. But....malt vinegar and salt should be on all fried fishes.

Glad to see the gloves, when eating finger foods. Better safe than sorry. Fish looked good. As long as it's take out, I'm happy. Enjoy. Oh I love malt vinegar, but just a sprinkle on the fish. Shrimp sauce not ketchup, is very good.
Danny with that gambling story - maybe you should considering doing some sort of video review style thing on this thing called TH-cam? Perhaps reviewing food from Vegas or NYC? I bet a lot of people would love to see Beef chow fun reviews, and a ranking list of tap water.

Good idea to just stop gambling, not a good mindset to not care or worse, chase good money after bad. As for the lobster, I think some cook thought putting more batter on it makes it look bigger not thinking everyone would hate it with big thick, partially cooked batter on a lobster tail. So far Gordon Ramsay restaurants have disappointed me more times than not, especially considering his reputation for perfection and being a complete jerk to people that don't perform.
I havent heard any good comments about Gordon Ramsey place. Try the Codfather or Ellis Island for fish and chips.
I think we all have different taste buds and some people like vinegar and some don’t, ketchup is always a safe bet. Glad you broke even, otherwise that would have been an expensive trip to the bathroom! 😂
The only way to win at gambling is to make a big score and walk away forever.

Wow, $25 per spin and then $250 per hand in Black Jack. Very scary. I cannot even play $5 a hand without anxiety. Am glad you got your money back to pay off the marker at Caesar's.
oh geesh i hate vinegar .. but if you put it in a spray bottle and add salt it is quite tasty cause you can control how much you put on lol

I have to chuckle, you're cheap when it comes to food, but you have an unlimited budget for gambling, lol. When I come to Vegas it's just the opposite, money for food, very little for gambling. I think I spent $20 on the slots the last time I was there.
Malt Vinegar: It tastes good, but only a little bit. If you add too much, it will ruin your food. Explain the appeal again?
EDIT: I just had an idea. Instead of paying off the marker, use that chip to gambol tomorrow. That way you don't have to get another marker!
