WHOA!! $24.88 That's a LOT of MONEY for JUST a bowl of soup. I hope that the bowl is as big around as a dinner plate and at least 10 inches deep. I truly hope that was the epitome of wonton noodle soup Danny. I also hope the bowl has LOTS of ingredients and FULL to the brim.
Glad to see a wonton video! It looked like a 2 person portion of noodles with one portion of meat, wonton and vegetables. I just got a bowl for $12 up in the Bay Area. Lol…as long as 88 in the price, the Chinese will buy it. Filthy rich Danny! That could be your new name!
Is Zippy's on your radar to try more food that people eat in Hawaii? They have something called a Zip Min which is the Hawaii version of Noodle Soup. It is also something known as Saimin in Hawaii....created during Plantation era. Wish one day you can really take anything you want from the Indiana Jones tray and fridge.
Danny..you know you will never get anything better than Chinese food from NY...as a former New Yorker, I have yet to find Chinese food as good as NY..we actually have eaten here several times, while staying at Mandalay Bay.. convenient and open late...so enjoy, as always, love watching your videos Danny👍👍👍
:) GO Danny! Agree that Won Ton is TRIPLE priced :( Too funny as I used to have a handkerchief back in the day ... ALL the BEST and GREAT BONUS part! Realizing, you speak Cantonese!!! :) Cheers!
at 4:01 - i ask for paper napkins now days, i dont like cloth napkins and wiping on the cloth napkin.. Any “residual” food or oil ends up on my pants or dress. so, i just do paper napkins and rudely keep it on the table to keep my pants clean. lol. its true!
I think I am used to the wonton noodle soup the same way u are Danny. It has yellow noodles and the wonton wrapper is longer in my case. I miss wonton noodle soup but I can't have it anymore because of being allergic to shrimp now... Anyway, I loved when u threw the vegetables aside LOL! And wow I never thought hotels would do water shut offs?!
True facts. Consumer reports did a whole analysis of best bottle waters Fuji did come in number one! The $24 wonton soup was hilarious. I’m in Vegas in a couple of months so now I know where to avoid! Thanks DTM 👍
@danny the medic, have you tried the New York Chinese Restaurant on 9430 W Lake Mead Blvd #1 89134? what is the difference between NY chinese food and non NY chinese food?
will add to list, thanks. dtm5 NY chinese food places I go to are very cantonish. the ppl here came from that area and formed chinatown. then over the decades ppl from more north came so you gotta look carefully
🤣🤣 Your horror at finding the vegetables was hilarious. 🤣🤣 They must get asked for more broth quite a bit because he knew exactly what you wanted more of.
We only use cloth napkins in our house. I get this habit from my G'ma Bonita. She only used cloth napkins. That is one of the first 'whoo' comments that I make when we sit down to eat at a restaurant and they have cloth napkins.
My fave wanton soup ever came from Caesars room service. It was called War Wanton Soup. Massive bowl, packed full and totally delicious. I think with all the fees and tip that soup cost me about $40. Now I don’t know if it was the absurd amount of money that made my brain think it tasted amazing, or the fact I was about 6 cocktails to the wind and coming off a win on the slots….but 15 years later I still think about that soup with great fondness. 😂
There's a great noodle place in your kill zone called Burp Bowl on East 27th & Lexington. I personally love their Dry Mixed Mapo Tofu with Bok Choy and terrific rice noodles. Their Beef Rice Noodle Soup comes with bone beef broth, and also with Danny The Medic's dreaded Bok Choy, which can be substituted. Both are $11.99. Terrible name but terrific, flavorful food.
I bet one bottle of that Fiji Non-Tap Water is something like $30 or even higher. Even when I used to go to Vegas back in the mid-90s when I was old enough to gamble etc. that stuff was expensive. I can just imagine what it's like nowadays. As for that wonton noodle soup, it did also remind me of a mei fun type of noodle dish because the noodles had absorbed so much of the broth. Man, now I wish I could get some chow fun, or even mei fun.
I've eaten there many times, only because I have food comps and their food is okay. Overpriced like everything in Vegas, but decent chinese food. Now don't get me wrong, it's not NYC or Vancouver Canada(where I live) good, but it satisfies the craving while in Vegas.
Love your humor :) although not wonton noodles the best noodles in vegas IMO are Magic Noodle for beef noodle soup (off strip) or duck noodle soup in Harrahs food court 👍🏾
DTM $24.88 were you still sleeping? 😴. Or sleep walking? Hmmm there goes the cheap SOB theories. But, that is a large bowl of soap.🍲. MSG both, ouch gives me headaches . Lots of noodles they are cheaper than the wontons. They use the noodles to fill you quicker. Hmmmm, Bokchoy not your favorite either 🤣. Still happy you enjoyed the soup! 🥣. Lol, the last extra video that you are rich was amusing 😂🥲🤣😂😅. You are a hoot! 🦉
Those tourist trap wontons look good! I implore you though, go get chips and guacamole, Carne Asada, and a Margarita at Hussong's! They invented the Margarita!
The Best Wonton Noodle Soup in Chinatown was at Hop Kee...perfect on a cold wintry day ,oh and the price was right too..not$24.88 ..those were the days...
The noodles are probably white egg noodles, noodles made without yellow egg yolks. I personally like this type of noodles more than the traditional wonton mein.
DTM- I ‘ll have the triple price wonton noodle soup. Future Mrs DTM- For that price, the portion better feeds three people! Tung- great! I get a portion too!!! More broth. $10 more TY!
That looks like Japanese somen noodles common in Hawaii. In my view, too expensive for just won ton soup. I’ve eaten there before … nothing special but we were staying at the Mandalay so tried that restaurant out.
The ratio noodle and won ton are incorrectly. So what's the count of won tons in the bowl? For that price, shrimp inside of won ton is whole not minced. Veg is not gai lon and they serve you a cheaper version. So no charge for exra soup is good.
I am looking for a good won ton place in Vegas since Sam Woo's closed. At least I know to avoid Noodle Shop! The chefs there probably know what to buy but they are forced to use the same supplier for all their restaurants in the hotel and the supplier does not know that won ton mein is supposed to have egg in it and better versions have shrimp or scallops with more texture to them. They probably just send the kitchen gyoza wrappers too, skin on them is too thick - they should be all wrinkly in appearance like won tons that just came out of a cold swimming pool - Food and travel guys, food and travel - and at least half the price.
Danny… unfortunately you’re being overcharged for this wonton soup. No way this dish is worth $24. You can go to Chinatown and get two bowls of wonton soup for less than $24. 😂
I know you're Chinese but you have to expand your videos to more than mostly Chinese food. That wonton noodle soup was way overpriced at $24.88. No way!
$25 bucks for wonton noodle soup? Call the police, because you just got robbed.
I live in SE Asia, where a bowl of wonton noodle soup with char siu, costs less than two bucks.
WHOA!! $24.88 That's a LOT of MONEY for JUST a bowl of soup. I hope that the bowl is as big around as a dinner plate and at least 10 inches deep. I truly hope that was the epitome of wonton noodle soup Danny. I also hope the bowl has LOTS of ingredients and FULL to the brim.
yes yes, at least 10 inches I swear!
"...I will have your triple price wonton soup for $24.88...." That is AWESOME!
I love the fact that Medic Danny orders Lake Mead water to drink! LMAO regarding the Handkerchief! My 1924 born deceased Grandfather had one!🤮😂
Danny...you are so funny...I ❤ your quirky reviews! 😂

$24.88 wonton soup, better have some gold in it lol
Oh yeah, may be platinum
Just know where u at at all time??? If u in the ghetto you don’t put shit on your lap? If u in a 5stras restaurant it’s different?😮
Mi
We are old lol. We expect early 2000 prices still 😂
It better come with a happy ending.
In Reno, I get this dish for 12 bucks, and they actually fill the bowl.
You made our day! Laughing uncontrollably 😂😂

many say the tap water makes all the difference
😎”I’ll have the triple price …”. straight to the waiter’s face!! You are bold…gangsta even!
:) GO Danny! Agree that Won Ton is TRIPLE priced :( Too funny as I used to have a handkerchief back in the day ... ALL the BEST and GREAT BONUS part! Realizing, you speak Cantonese!!! :) Cheers!
i speak a little.. just a little, so little that if ppl ask, I just say NO I dont speak
LOL! THanks and me too, only remember FAV food sand bad word :) ALL the BEST! :)@@dannythemedic

This channel is interesting and entertaining !
Love your videos Danny ❤
I sooo agree about the napkin. Napkin on lap is a western thing. But its more useful to be placed on table
You got run bun by the won ton noodle
I love your presentation.
🤣🤣 Your horror at finding the vegetables was hilarious. 🤣🤣 They must get asked for more broth quite a bit because he knew exactly what you wanted more of.
I did feel like he knew somehow
When you pulled the noodles up over your head the sound you heard was me laughing like crazy.
Did they charge you for the extra brooth?
they did not!
We only use cloth napkins in our house. I get this habit from my G'ma Bonita. She only used cloth napkins. That is one of the first 'whoo' comments that I make when we sit down to eat at a restaurant and they have cloth napkins.
Another reason to put the napkin on the table is so you don't have to keep picking it up every time it rolls off of your lap.
My fave wanton soup ever came from Caesars room service. It was called War Wanton Soup. Massive bowl, packed full and totally delicious.

I got all excited.. until it was so long ago! LOL
@@dannythemedic Check onto Caesars. Get 6 cocktails under your belt. Hop into bed. Call room service. Try. It might still be that good. 🤣

Danny, how could you! I cannot continue subscribing knowing you are a super wealthy minibar user. Where is the integrity??

You did not fooled me! Lol

yeah, with comp it was okay... I woulda been upset if I had to pay for it
Was the Pork cold? It is likely waxy because they pulled it from the fridge and did not properly re-heat it.
Hey Danny- You didn't mention whether or not the charged you for the extra broth. If so, how much was it?
they did not charge me for it! thank goodness
@@dannythemedic What a relief!
Lol😂❤ I would like the triple price wonton soup. The waiter didn't even laugh😮. Maybe your water isn't free there, maybe triple price too. 😊
Love your humor :) although not wonton noodles the best noodles in vegas IMO are Magic Noodle for beef noodle soup (off strip) or duck noodle soup in Harrahs food court 👍🏾

Love the video. Did they charge you for the extra broth?
thank goodness they didnt... I woulda fought with the manager if they tried to!

@@dannythemedic I love you
Hello 👋 first time fallower can’t help my self laughing 😅😅😅 Next time just order Wanton Soup.
Compare to LA la noodles won ton soup. Msg in Broth is a no go. Price is a little steep good to see you got a bargain on Fiji water. Enjoyed
I want noodletown video 😂
I firmly believe that the Fiji sequence was CGI!
Looking Good, enjoy your soup🍲🥢
When it boils down to the basics cash is KING!
That was a big bowl of noodles. 😋
Danny Danny please go to lindo michoachan off desert dr if you want authentic Mexican food. Cheers!
will add to list, thanks. dtm5
Regarding muscle memory: I worry that if I keep farting freely while in private that I might forget when I'm in public.
The won ton noodle soup at Hong Kong Cafe at Palazzo was good and "only" $18. Of course, it didn't have any sliced meat.
I must try! dtm5
What is going on?!?! The Medic gave a VEGETABLE a 8.5! ( scallion) 😂
How you play around with the noodles remind me of Kung Fu Panda. In fact, you could be Kung Fu Panda if you were an animal ?
The Best Wonton Noodle Soup in Chinatown was at Hop Kee...perfect on a cold wintry day ,oh and the price was right too..not$24.88 ..those were the days...
so did they finally charge extra for soup?
no it was not charged! thank goodness
Long noodle , long life.😂🍜🍜
The noodles are probably white egg noodles, noodles made without yellow egg yolks. I personally like this type of noodles more than the traditional wonton mein.
I had the best dumplings in my life yesterday
Danny, can you show us some Korean resto in future besides KBBQ ?
maybe... I hate paying alacarte for korean foods they be a rip
You are hilarious. ❤
No worries, DTM
Rich or poor, I like you for you
woahh i aint rich but why do ppl think "working man" = poor?
@dannythemedic
I was just pointing out the two extremes
Obviously, you are not poor
I love you for how you come across as a person
🙂
$24.88 holy crap, they better have a Supermodel serving it to me.
AND announce that it is coming, so you can turn and see the model strut it over from the kitchen!
So funny! For $25, I could make at least 100 wontons myself. The soup though. Why are they so cheap with the soup? It didn't even cover the food!
haha I thought you were going to open the toilet lid...
$24.88 for wonton soup? No table cloth? Not enough broth? Someone call the authorities!
Wearing a patek 5711!!! You better be getting at 48.99 wonton noodle soup.
no I was not! many low priced stuff that have the same classic looks!
nooooo...
Yellow noodles are usually Hong Kong style isn't it? The won tons were Hong Kong style yellow wrappers, but the noodles were not which was unusual.
Even if you're filthy rich there's no reason to pay 10 bucks for a bottle of water.
DTM- I ‘ll have the triple price wonton noodle soup.
Future Mrs DTM- For that price, the portion better feeds three people!
Tung- great! I get a portion too!!!
More broth. $10 more TY!
For a moment I really thought you were rich, because anyone who pays $25+ for a bowl of wonton noodle soup must be. 😂
$25… can’t afford it 🤪🤣😂
You threw the vegetable onto the table, LOL
noo.. there was a little empty plate there
I enjoy that place
In your future videos pls include date and time if visit
Oh my goodness you are funny

lol@bonus come on buy a few Daytonas :)
When they have Won Tpn Soup for over $20.00 one needs to wonder how much the Beef Fun Chow would be worth ?
😮 Over Priced does not mean extra Great
$24.99 with extra (non egg) noodles? I’ll wait…
I never said non egg, it just looks more white, as seen in photos
@@dannythemedic I just prefer the traditional Chinese yellow egg noodles.
Need more broth
Noodles are cheaper than wontons and broth appeared watery.
"broth appeared watery".😂😂😂
I know you're Chinese but you have to expand your videos to more than mostly Chinese food. That wonton noodle soup was way overpriced at $24.88. No way!
Im just a regular guy vlogging my meals, this is actually the stuff I eat!
Should have told them more broth and no vegs
If broth is a 6, not a good start. $24.88 for noodles. For that price take the bowl home with you.
Nothing like no flavor soup
not a 25 dollar bowl of soup😂
🤠🤠🤠❤❤❤
You're funny
Baby bok choi is yummy
If it was gai lan or choy sum, that woulda been more of what I would like, but none is best
🤣🍲💲💲💲
wow $25 for a bowl of soup??????
I would have paid $6.88 for that bowl, a total rip off 😕
