I can tell you that the jeep is not going to break $30k worth of parts in one year if built by someone reputable. Hennessy's customers know nothing about cars. All they have is money. If they knew ANYTHING about automobiles, they would know that they were getting ripped off. Hennessy has good advertising and makes it easy for the customer by having an all inclusive package. You can purchase a new vehicle, and before you even take delivery of it, it will get the Hennessy treatment. Then, you'll be taking delivery of a brand new modified high hp vehicle. IMO, that's smart....but he's also robbing people (wealthy people who know nothing about cars) by charging the customer 4 times more than what they should be charging them. He's still succeeding at it unfortunately. There's enough dumb wealthy people out there that will let Hennessy rip them off.

These mopar engines are super stout. All you do to get this power really is a smaller pulley and a tune. It really isn't that much work to unlock big hp in a big displacement V8
I know Eaton has worked miracles with the TVS and that the 2.65 outdoes the Whipple 2.9 for horsepower, but the engineer in me cringes at replacing a twin screw with a Roots. For 1000 HP, I'd prefer to start with the Redeye blower or the 3.0 from the Hellephant. I'm sure that isn't cheap, but neither is Hennessey.
This is a JEEP that's got near Veyon levels of acceleration and power. Heck if the Veyon driver isn't on point this thing could beat it. Never would have thought something like this would be a thing and I love it!
I love American cars right now. It's everything good about muscle cars - the noise, v8 engines and tons of power, but now mixed with actual good cars. You can get your American v8 in your choice of power and in everything from a mid-engine DCT sports car (corvette) a pony car with a flat-plane crank and an iconic nameplate (shelby), one of the best handling FR chassis in the business (camaro), a true retro muscle car (challanger), to a usable, reasonably nice SUV. Love it.
I mean what do you expect from a highly modified vehicle? I think covering it for 12k miles after cranking it up to 1000hp is pretty good. When you modify the car yourself, you get 0 mile warranty.

I finally saw a trackhawk this past wednesday in NH..it was white.. I could tell it was something srt ish from afar til i drove by it looked at the TH on the back...certainly didnt look like it was holding all that power..pretty sleek i must say

Also serves as tha origin of nascar/stock car racing, as tha cars these moonshine runners would drive were literally just stock everyday cars that were tuned.

Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk is not a sleeper. It's known to be very fast from factory even if its tuned and modded. If it was a basic lower trim model or a Wrangler with the TrackHawk drivetrain, then yes that's a sleeper after putting an electric exhaust cutout to quiet down the noise a bit to give it away. But other than that, good video.
With all that torque I'd 'downgrade' the axels from 3.70:1 to something like 3.36:1, and if gas mileage at high speeds is a concern, I'd go farther to a 3.08:1 ratio
I wish FCA would actually take advantage of electric steering and have variable weighting like Ford has it in f150, it's missed opportunity, especially for Trackhawk
