- Omar Sharif was undoubtedly one of the most iconic actors that Hollywood has ever seen. The late, great tour de force - who had appeared in such Hollywood classics as "Lawrence of Arabia," "Dr. Zhivago," and the musical "Funny Girl" - may have passed away in 2015, but his legacy lives on not just in his timeless films, but also in the family members that he left behind.
Case in point: His grandson, Omar Sharif Jr. While Omar Sharif has gone down in cinematic history as one of the greats, his grandson is just getting started - although, we've got to admit, he seems to be doing pretty well for himself already. Passionate, talented, and involved in plenty of meaningful causes, it doesn't hurt that Omar Sharif's grandson is just as handsome as he was.

Lawrence of Arabia. One of the most striking, incredible movies ever!
More than a miracle with Omar Sharif and Sophia Loren. The tension in that movie was palpable and you can cut it like a knife. Excellent movie if you've never seen it, and if you're feeling saucy, watch the Italian version
Dr. Zhivago! Love that movie and the chemistry between Sharif and Julie Christie was fabulous!

But its his leading Lady that he has marvelous chemistry with, that surprised me......Julie Andrew's! Yep, Maria & the Sheik. And they are smoking hot! 🥰

That was not apart of Omar Sharif's his Grandfathers culture, to lay with men. Egypt is a very conservative culturally traditional country. The LGBTQ, has always been part of the European culture, like the Greeks and Romans.
There is NO WAY that his grandfather and especially his grandmother, the late, GREAT Faten Hamama would EVER be PROUD to have a homosexual grandson.
