When it comes to videogames I trust xxricardogonzalez69xx who played the game for 1000 hours on the hardest difficulty and left a review that only says "It's ok 8/10" more than the average gaming journalist review.

I believe it. It's just massive and needs testing. Give it a month or two. I think they'll come around.
I mean, almost everything this game did has been done a thousand times over (often better), character creator is lackluster-mediocrity at best and you can't even change your appearance mid-game aside clothing (no enhanced cybernetics or tattoos or shit the CGI trailers basically implied you could do), enemies are bullet sponges and depending on your upgrades even a damn dildo can do more damage than a shotgun (🤦), the life paths don't make a huge difference regarding the bulk of the game, side quests and exploration can't be experienced after you beat the game (unless you load a checkpoint prior to the last mission, which is just ridiculous), the "open world" itself is often empty and lifeless (feels like a COVID lockdown in a LOT of areas), you got buildings that can't be entered and food vendors/stores with 0 NPC's (can't even buy food at these places or have conversations with random AI), you can't interact with virtually any of the random NPC's (sometimes you have a "talk" option where literally nothing happens when you press it), in my opinion this game is very-very average at best. Hey, I really wanted this to be "the game of the decade" it was hailed to be, but deep down I knew it wasn't living up to this fantasy the masses created in their brains, though I sure as fuck didn't expect it to be this bad (at least in terms of bugs/glitches, atrocious optimization etc), and I sure as shit didn't expect an FPS that just happens to feature casual RPG mechanics (rather than an RPG in first person)... 👀

The irony is that game journalists were terrible just for the opposite reasons this video shows
Here's my review .... it needs:
A slider for crafting more than one item
The phone to alphabetically sort contacts
A search bar in the lore section and a *Hide already seen* box
A way to select from the many found paint jobs for guns, that you can add to your crafted guns
A way to select from the many found paint jobs for cars/bikes, that you can add to your bought cars/bikes
A way to select from the many colors for clothes, that you can add to your crafted clothes
Better AI ... seriously, help them, I feel bad for them every time they forget how walls work
Better hit detection for the brawl missions and melee in general if it suffers from the same problem (tho it doesn't seem to) so you don't take damage when you parry/block/dodge
More special weapons/quickhacks/augments used by enemies, I rarely see smart guns/cover piercing guns/any grenade other than basic/special power augments that aren't the mantis blades/any quick hack other than burn and I've never been rag dolled by a shotgun like I can do to them, game would be more fun, if you had to adapt to the gear the enemy is using, beyond melee/ranged
Polishing ... a lot of it.
After this at least a 9/10
Before it 6.5/10 - 0/10 depending how well it runs on the platform you bought it on.

To be fair...the main storyline is very short and there's only a few nice secondary questlines ( Jude's , Panam's , the investigator dude's , ecc ) , the others are just your fixers sending you to do what's p much the same 3 types of mission over and over for 200 times .
@@kasumi2173 They are all the same concept sure, but I think you could make the same argument for a lot of open world game quests, such as Skyrim. Though I admit I would like to have seen something other than grimy apartments, condos and dodgy warehouses in the side quests.
