I just found your channel. I've been watching videos on multiplacing, and I think yours was the best. You talk like I think, and you made sense to me. I have subscribed and will be watching all your videos. Please keep them coming. God bless.
Thanks, Joan!! You are the first person I've ever seen diamond paint exactly like me!! I too, only use a 5 placer!! I can diamond paint with any size but I hate to count 😂. I also prefer to paint vertically moving from right to left with my tray oriented vertically 💖
My most used multiplacer is my 4 placer. I too place up and down, but with the canvas also oriented up and down. I stagger as well. Depending on the blocking area and drills/canvas, I also use anything from single to 8 placer.
This was so helpful. It really encouraged me use the right tools for my skill level. I had jumped to a 10 placed way too quickly and was spending too much time re-aligning wonky drill placement. I had moved to a 7 but am going to use a 5 and try it. The vertical placement is a game changer. I love it so much more than horizontal.
Loved the video! I am in search of a 2 placer. I am a 4-placer as my go to. I also prefer the metal placers over the plastic. I haven't yet developed a technique for my approach to the painting. Right now, I move around the canvas to change the focus of what I am diamond painting. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I have single placed my first 3 paintings. The fourth one had a lot of black colorblocking, that's when I started multiplacing with 4. Now, my fav is the 7 multiplacer. I multiplace everything from 2 to 7 with it, then sigle place when I have no choice 😁
Hi Joan great content. I was wondering if they had a larger placer then ten. I love the large placers I will look for the 15 placers now. I could never go back to the 1 placer. Tfs hugs
First off i love your nails! ❤ they remind me of a design i did on mine years ago 😆 also you really make it look so easy. I tried it with a 3 placer recently but it still seems more effort than singleplacing 😅
@@JoanDiamondPaints i bet. I mean it is obviously very convenient if you're able to put down 4 or 5 drill at a time compared to just one. Maybe i just need to get used to it🤷♀️
I bought some metal tips but they were very bulky. I love these that you use but I would luke it if I could order just the size i use (4 placer). Thank you for the info.
I didn't see one on Amazon that just sold 1 at a time but I saw this pack: amzn.to/3jqe60f The budget stores I do PR packages for sell them individually like here www.diydigitalart.com/products/rhinestones-head-diamond-painting-point-drill-pen-tips-diy-arts-decor-craft?spm=..collection_dd8881eb-4496-4815-a9ae-e80a561a1269.collection_detail_1.78&spm_prev=..index.header_1.1
I got a new set of a pen and a bunch of steel multiplacers and I put them in both ends of the pen but they don't stay still - the move around the base of the pen. Do you have any tips to fix this? Thanks
I do my best multi-placing with 6. But, when I multi-place the drills don’t fit together as well as single placing. But,with that said, I’ve only been doing this about 3 months.
Diamond paintings usually do look a little better when single placing. I don't usually go bigger in my multiplacing just because I would need to spread them out a little the bigger the multiplacer.
Hello, I just started doing Diamond painting and I’m a little annoyed because I want to do multi diamond placing like three at a time but it’s really hard to pick up the diamonds with the pens. Does anybody else have this problem and I stick it in the wax you know for a while, so the wax will build up before even try to pick up the diamonds and I’m still having problems, picking up the diamonds from the tray. 😡
I need some help with AB when I pick the AB wax in the pen and it on the picture it pulls the wax out the pen can someone please please help me? Or give a suggestion thanks.
I have problems lining up the drills in the tray, too. or I don’t pick up all the drills. I have a DP that has terrible colors on the subjects (birds are pink) and I’m going to use the canvas to practice multiplacing. I don’t like idea of wasting drills, but will be a good way to practice.

"These are heavy... yeah, HEAVY METAL" (Bill and Ted’s excellent adventure reference) 😂

Yes, 5 is really easy for me to count immediately.
I like the four placer. I'll even use it to single place too to save time from flipping back and forth.
I do that too!
I love the four or five placers! Thank you for great content as you always do you are awesome 😎!!!
Thanks!

I usually diamond paint with my canvas in portrait even if it the picture is in landscape orientation. It just fits my area better.

Glad it was helpful!
I find the multi placer helpful and a pain at the same time. I got the train make market painting and started it. It reminds me of diamond dotz.
I feel the same way sometimes but I can't go back to only single placing.
The 2, 3 and 5 are my happy place took me awhile but once I got on to it I liked it and I like the metal placers best. Great job as always.
Thank you!

I usually go by section and start with the predominant color.
Four placers are my favorite. I tried larger but don't do well. Thank you for sharing.
I don't do well with the larger placers either.
Can you do tips on waxes and putties please? love your contents. ☺☺
I don't really use the waxes and putties. I use glue dot in my single placer and double sided tape in my mulitplacer.
@@JoanDiamondPaints Double sided tape?!?! WOW how do you do that? please teach us 🙏🙏😅😁😊
@@commonsense1212 I showed it in this video th-cam.com/video/SfdQDxglK90/w-d-xo.html at the 5:45 mark
Great video thank you ❤
I love the 4 placer 🐱
😀
Joan, you make lining up the drills look so easy. I have wondered if one tray works better than another for lining up.
I thought of doing a video on how to line the drills up on a tray but it is so automatic for me now that I don't know how to explain it.
Absolutely enthralling! Loved it. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!

I multi-place a lot ..usually 4 placer. But I have used the really long ones a couple times. Use a " heel to toe " motion to make straight line. ⚾️
Love the heel to toe description!
First off i love your nails! ❤ they remind me of a design i did on mine years ago 😆 also you really make it look so easy. I tried it with a 3 placer recently but it still seems more effort than singleplacing 😅

Joan, do you have a preference for where you buy your metal placers?
What nail polish do you use? Beautiful
It is actually a nail wrap from here: www.lilyandfox.com/products/seas-the-day?_pos=1&_sid=0c0ab4a5e&_ss=r
Love your tips however I do the opposite. I use the curved tip for my squares and the straight tip for my rounds.
I could not get a hang of the curved tip for my squares. Maybe I should try again.
What “wax” do you use in your multiplayer?

Wrap enough tape around the multiplacer and then insert it into the pen. The tape will add some extra width and help it fit the pen better.

I suggest dirtying up the wax. ABs pull out newly added wax. Also, I find ABs are easier to place with multiplacers.
I still can’t multiplace very well. I’m too picky. Plus I just can’t get the diamonds to line up in the tray😮

It took me 15-20 diamond paintings until I started multiplacing.
