Amazing that these companies released these new bows as new models. Should just call it the VXR 2022 or something. Updates from year to year are smaller and smaller kinda like buying a car. a 2016 and 2018 can be almost identical save for a new grille and new guages. That's where we are with bows it seems. Can't wait for the new shapes and more drastic design changes.

To their credit they called it the "V3X" that's pretty transparent. I think you are right about the car comparison and most people do view bows like cars. If you have the budget for a new one every year there is nothing wrong about being excited for the latest and greatest and supporting American manufacturing. How many people own multiple guns that all do the same job? Or even multiples of virtually the same exact gun? One thing that bothers me, and I have been guilty of this myself, is that compound bow buyers have this weird sense of entitlement that every year a revolutionary design should come out and it should fit everyone's budget. I can't think of an industry that delivers in this way yet people expect that from bow manufactures.

@@KnightsoftheApex I agree. Marketing is a big Deal with these big companies. And they need to keep releasing something "new" every year to float the size of the company. I'm all for incremental upgrades 100%, but marketing has to sell it as "new" and "never before seen technology" when they just made it lighter and angled the cable guard. Martin Archery does it similar but slightly different with some of their bows, as they will offer one bow for like three or four years, and just slightly alter the name. For instance my Martin MAX 33 I bought in 2018 has a newer sibling the MAXX 32 and 33. Nearly the same bow, just slightly altered cams and slightly different limbs, again like car models. It's still a Ram truck, but this one has small changes. I love all of the buzz around New Gear though, it's like watching the playoffs or championship game kinda excitement! 😀

@@ApexPredatorOutdoors I just got my v3x 29 in I did the bow builder I got it in granite wt red and black strings I have the hamskea epsilon rest made for mathews. Spot Hogg fast Eddie xl double pin. The bridge lock is very nice. I have Conquest control freak pro stabilizers wt the smacwrap tech. A 10 inch in the front and a lower back bar wt a 8 inch. The bow is fast . Dead in the hand and quite. 1 of the best bows ever made. I like the inline primes as well. But the mathews was the way for me.

@@wcwcgarner2717 awesome! A lot of people swear by those V3X. The price is right too! Compared to some of these carbon bows The prime inline and the Mathews V3 series are a steal.

Having a V3 27, the V3X 29 didn't feel that much different than my 27. It did feel slightly more balanced, but other than that the two felt identical. Now the 33 on the other hand felt and shot like a dream, it definitely caught my attention. It reminded me a lot of my Halon 32 from what seems like a long time ago.

I've shot Mathews for years but I switched to Hoyt this year. The Hoyt TO ME just way more smooth, more dead in the hand, and once I pulled it back it just held and fit so much better. BUT the Mathews are absolutely great bows. I'm a fan of their long risers, I think they're the best looking bows, and the SAS is a great idea.

Thanks man. I've watched many videos on these 2 new bows, but I like hearing everyone's opinion on them. Most seem quite positive .
    Hope you're feeling better now

I have 2 Traverse. That new V3-33 is SWEET Looking. A slightly longer riser. Yea, it’s gonna happen. The most unnecessary money I’ll ever spend.

Not that I dont care about other people opinions but not worth listening to someone without bow in hand. Or atleast travel to a dealer and do a private review. Should be called first impressions without having the bow. You owe me 5 mins of my life back. That bow sight is sick though and hope it’s not like the Tesla cyber truck. And we actually get some real release dates

I explained I lost my footage in the first 30 seconds of the video. You saw the video but you didn’t listen to it.
