    You are by far the best driver among all the "pov-drivers". :) Just wish your videos were a LOT longer (more different locations, like city, night, highway, landroads, rain etc) :)

      Exactly ! It's a very good engine, on highway it's very confortable and there is enough power at 130 km/h (6 liters for 100km of consumption). I have a Color Edition serie with 3 doors with 17" wheels ! The last modern car with a 4 cylinder without turbo and 3 doors in 2018 ! The sound system is very good for an affordable car !

    How many rpm drivin 50km/h on 3rd? Is it a gradual increase after, let's say another 5000 at 60, 10 000 at 70 and so on?

    • @FabianSkilling
      @FabianSkilling 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Why 3rd gear? At 50 km/h it's clever to use the 5th gear. At 50 km/h you have 1300-1400 rpm and the fuel consumption is 3 liter/100 km or 78 mpg.

    • @Matti6950
      @Matti6950 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FabianSkilling 50 is to low, i have Corsa D (version before this, 4 cilinder, 86 hp. For maximum economy, stability, engine feeling nice and not having sounds that indicate to low rpm: it goes like this:
      0-15km/h = first gear
      15-30km/h = second gear
      30-42km/h = third gear
      42-64km/h = 4th gear
      64-130km/h = 5th gear
      This newer version has 6th gear box, wich i dont have.
      Opel Agila 1.2 75hp, had exactly the same gear box variations, yes 50km/h was possible the the moment you even changed with + or - 1km/h you could hear it was not good, Btw fuel economy wise, on Agila i managed -2 liter compared to manufactuerer stated on 470km calm drive. No conclusion yet on newer corsa, but i think +2km/l at least, on high way +4 i think.

    What is it like to drive one of these as a taller person? Can you find a good driving position while sitting straight out or do you have to slouch?

    • @vladgeorge7467
      @vladgeorge7467 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They actually have a lot of leg room, driven one and im 6ft1, but it's bad for whoevers sitting behind you.

    • @newjoflo6916
      @newjoflo6916 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      6ft6 over here..drove the corsa b,c,d,e..lots of leg/headroom. Verry comfy to drive but a bit lack of power to be honest..d/e models 1'2/1'4 engines..the only satisfying engine was a 1.4 101ps..

  • @Matti6950
    @Matti6950 หลายเดือนก่อน

    To much sound barrier, i like to hear the engine, so any wrong gearboxing can be in a reflex fixed, you will also not be accidently in high rpm while forgetting, the sound will make the to obvious, Corsa D to E clearly lost driver to engine connection, sad :) Cars to expensive already wasted money for me. I think you a few times were in to high gearbox, the sound of the car was totally gone, but on my Corsa D (similar engine wound wise), you always hear somethign, below the perfect rpm there is a slight stutter, but you would not hear it, with to much sound barrier.
