Artists like dovydas are rare in my experience but a thrill to work on anything because like some of you all have said, he has way of drawing in the crowd all by himself, musically inclined, funny, & maintains a great stage presence through and through. You’re absolutely correct. As a former classically trained professional musician, no matter what language you speak, the notes, time signature, tempo, etc., say the same thing. One of the few mediums that allow for individual interpretation w/o judgement.

That wasn't BOC Burning For You but it was an amazing ad hoc vocal rendition to whatever was being jammed. Amazing beautiful voice.
No BOC song ever sounded that way, and the lyrics were not even close to being right. On his phone, he clearly had the right album cover, and he listened to I am assuming the correct song.
@@TampaMaximumMike You're right, the long instrumentals and vocal styles might better fit a Pink Floyd composition if accuracy were the aim. But at the same time, it is just a jazzy, improv concept where one musician has about 40 seconds of familiarity with a BÖC tune and creates an inspired rift, and the singer clearly knows it better, but might be shy to fit the words into the tune. She still manages to weave in the core lyric, driving home the closure that the familiar sounding tune was not a mistake or an unintentional sound-alike, but something directly inspired by "Burnin' for You". And I think that is what this is, a homage. Less a cover, more of a fan-made b-side. Time ain't on my side, time I'll never know.
