I’m an older singer and I’ve performed this song many times, especially out doing Karaoke. I have heard this song butchered SO many times….it’s like they either do it kinda meh…or they’re so bad you go outside for a smoke break…even if you don’t smoke! 😂 But this girl is better than me….right up there with Stevie Nicks, down to the sexy moves that seem natural with such smooth riffs in her falsetto. It's near on impossible to get the sound of Fleetwood Mac, but to get it this close is amazing. I was totally hypnotised, and only Fleetwood can do that. Amazing voice.
This is one of my favorite Stevie Nicks songs. However, I like Katie singing it better. No studio effects and this sounds absolutely wonderful.

The best thing about live performances is you cannot fake it. That is why I love all the imperfections because it feels real.
I loved the authentic vibe through the instruments together with the maturity she brought through her voice. It was great.

It is one of those tracks.
This isn’t the best song to say this about. But I’ve seen Dovydas pull off the impossible, I knew this would be a cake walk and he had epic support.
But how does he get her vocal mic so clean? I can even hear her slight breathing but I’m not hearing it pick up any ambient sound of the cars or people passing, not the house speakers or monitors whatsoever. There must be some gate on it but very subtle . Does he do post work on any of these? .
Dang. The way he set up the backbeat and introduced the drums, the bass and the lead was seriously superb.
For real, most musicians would start with drums but this mad lad was like naw.
It's not that tough to do if you're a brilliant musician with an impressive understanding of song structure and a supreme talent for live performance.

Can I just say I was involved in drugs as well but I always loved singing and being up on stage? There’s no greater high than that hunny. Do what you used to love doing. Make yourself happy. I’m praying so hard for all of us. It’s not easy. I’m going to school for social work and I also just got accepted to berklee school of music in boston. Don’t give up. You can do this. It’s a bitch at first but I swear it DOES get better. Loads of love coming atcha. 💪🎶🎵

Dude this is skills. I’ve heard professionally recorded and mixed albums that couldn’t touch this. As a 25 year sound guy Im thoroughly impressed and enjoyed this.

Producing always is 90% tinkering with sound levels and mixing Stuff you really don't need to hear. These engineers and producers make absolutely nothing essential. All you basically need is a couple of takes of the vocals and remove farts and burps and add some tricks... It certainly shouldn't take more than a week to dabble with the material a decent band playing their 12 or whatever songs. You can actually turn good sessions into FUBAR overproduced crap. Take Beatles' Get Back, it's basically live and it's Great.
Don't come and tell me Bob Dylan's man and guitar pieces needed months of production magic. There's only so much you can hear anyway, so the more original and simple you do it The better.
Toto even could have made any of it's Great albums perfectly as Great in a week. People are so vain about their pathetic jobs.

We learned it in 1 day and when she came home from work we sang it to her. She’s passed away now-12 years. But everytime I hear this song I think of her. RIP mommy I love you! I live a short drive from here and I've seen several street musicians out on St. Armand's Circle - but this guy is on another level! This was incredible! Very cool to just be listening to TH-cam videos while I work and all of a sudden I hear this and stop for a second to look at the video and notice familiar sights in the background! (i.e. the Colombia Restaurant) Awesome stuff! Katie is a phenomenal singer - what a voice!

I always find it amazing to watch a real musician just create. To figure out the chords needed, the tempo, the skeleton that makes a song, and just start playing....

She has one of the best voices I've ever heard. The level of musicianship here is incredible. Those people are so fortunate to be there. And it's kind of beautiful how, occasionally, car brake lights reflect red from his fretboard.

I'm always blown away how these guys can layer tracks so quickly and accurately. Ed Sheeran does it live as well. Usually I do one track I'm happy with in 15-20 mins and these guys lay down 5 or 6 in a minute. The difference between a mediocre amateur and a seasoned pro 😄. Impressive indeed.

Ive loved Fleetwood Mac for more years than I can remember, well done young lady, Katie did good.
OMG I am big Fleetwood Mac fan and totally love some Stevie Nicks and feel like no one could top her voice but I think this lady did an amazing job!
Stevie Nicks and feel like no one could top her voice.....She did have a good voice, BUT, was ruined by drug abuse. Pat Benatar and Ann Wilson (Heart) have always been better, IMHO. Pat Benatar can still put tears in your eyes with her voice.

@@jakeburns6566 Christine McVie Too. She doesnt get her due cause of Stevie Nicks, but some of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs, McVie was the writer and lead singer. McVie actually had the most songs as lead singer. Just shows how amazing Fleetwood Mac is.
