    Love the diagonal kick! Most old school fighters use it very often

    I mainly train in Karate and TKD and wanted to check out sone Muay Thai techniques and I’m surprised that most of these are moves I’ve already learned (like roundhouse, axe, spinning hook kick, front kick etc) and some are variations of them (down roundhouse, step up kick, half-shin/ half-knee kick etc), thank you for the video this will definitely make it easier to transition into MT 😁

      The leverage and momentum surely differs if the technic might look the same u can figure it out after watching the leverage a muay thai fighter puts while throwing roundhouse or other kicks in shadowboxing

    Just before you throw the spinning heel kick, you lift and move the front foot a bit and that's telegraphing your spinning heel kick. Try to kick without the warning to the opponent. The way Bruce Lee did.

    В чем их различие от ударки ногами в современных школах Муай Тай 👊?

    • @FightvisionNet
      @FightvisionNet  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Современные удары упрощены. В основном учат фронт кик, лоу внешний и внутренний, миддл и немного хай. В целом это верно, чем проще, тем легче. А старая школа очень много техник в себе содержала. Вариации первого удара например. Второй удар это в идеале вообще удар в пах. 9 из муай боран.

    Why do you step first? You don't get snapped out allot doing that?

    • @ottovonbismarck5007
      @ottovonbismarck5007 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      jason cr. Muay Thai fighters usually lift their legs very regularly as muscle memory so they can be more “on their toes” (react faster). So, if they do step before a kick the opponent might jus think that they are checking.

    • @jasoncr.5581
      @jasoncr.5581 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ottovonbismarck5007 The difference between a step into an opponent and practiced foot work is broad.
      I like to ask the step before kick question because so many people do it without knowing how long that step takes to finish before the kicking leg leaves the ground while percieved by an opponent who has broken his 'flee' button.
      A great big step, maybe arms raised to build a push, whatever.
      Practice kicking without the step. I know what a dumb idea, anyone can do that.
      Practicing like that is like practicing pattern. No drama.
      All that aside.....can you do it?
