As a wrestler primarily my bread and butter are leg kicks and teeps against strikers, I’m never tryna let them establish a proper rhythm, I see them moving off that front leg, maybe to blitz or move into striking distance, or throw a kick off the back leg. I’m immediately throwing that leg teep. If I’m having problem with a boxer getting into punching range to easily for me I’m either looking to clinch or I’m looking to push him back with a teep. It’s honestly my favorite kick. And of course I love setting up the Superman with the teep. That leg teep also disrupts noventa to a point where I can move in quick right after and clinch or shoot or whatever.

Captain kiwi that’s super interesting, almost no wrestlers incorporate kicks into their style. Normally they take a pressure, boxing centred style

I love using the teep and it frustrates many of my sparring partners. The jab no teep is totally new for me as well as the step back in T-shape to get distance from an opponent (and counter a rushing one with a switch-kick).
    Really appreciate the tips! 👌

Your fighting tutorials are the best in my opinion and you really help me to improve my technique. Every time i have some doubt on a technique i search for your videos on youtube. For example, this time i had doubts on the forward hand. It has to be lowered instantly when you throw the teep, just like the low kick. Thanks a lot.

Teep is new to me, the word for it that is and I've watched fights where there was a lot of teep (it's also new to autocorrect!). I've been practicing taking fists to my abs but but the teep move is a new way to train. I've not taken knees either. Saw lots of that in the live Muay Thai stream fights you showed. So much to learn.

I'll have to try that, I was taught to keep my guard up anytime I'm in range... if i can throw a teep, I can catch a round, so I always keep my left arm up, if I throw my rear push kick I use my elbows for momentum, just like with knees
