No, actually you were spot on. I thought the first half of the fight was a bit easy for that to just be it compared to some of the other bosses in the base game and Ashes of Ariandel DLC. Don't get me wrong, i thought all the bosses in The Ringed City were fantastic and i loved all of them, me saying that this boss was "Far too easy" was probably the adrenaline talking and now looking back at it, it actually was a bit difficult and you can tell as i didn't have any Estus left after the 1st phase. :-)

Lemme Get Uhh Midir wasn't even that good. It was a long and boring boss fight and is kinda overrated. Don't get me wrong it's not bad or so, but definitely not as good as Gael or the demon prince. Midir was at least a real boss dragon. And the spear of the church (if Halflight or an online player) is interesting, but not as a boss fight since it's not a real boss imo. So the Demon prince is the second best boss of both DLCs in my opinion.
....Having their asses handed to them and a boss being too easy are two different things. They are just analyzing things, the two demons actually ARE too easy when compared to other stuff we've been thrown at. This is just a boss reaction video, you don't know how many times did they need to retry and you definitely don't see how, after each death, they need to kill the two demons again, before facing the demon prince. Hell, I myself struggled more against the Iron Dragonslayer Armor than the two demons (the demon prince is a different story tho).
They have been through friede, friede in the first tries leaves you without estus on the first phase, and the on the second phase and finally on her third phase as well, they were talking that they knew it was too easy as in “too good to be true” and not “git gud u scrub” kind of easy

The music for this fight, especially after the transition to Demon Prince, is magnificent. I think that's the thing all bosses in Dark Souls 3 have in common. Everyone has their favorite and least favorite boss fights, but all the themes are so beautiful and unique.
Honestly, my favorite boss out of the entire franchise actually comes from Demon's Souls, and that particular boss is an *OPTIONAL* boss! That being the False King.
@@gamester512 I checked the wiki, he isn't optional. You need to kill Allant and the other four archdemons to be able to go below the Nexus and fight True King Allant to finish the game.
I've loved this series so far and am honoured to be featured among the very entertaining and funny people in this video. It was this series that has opened my eyes to people that i wasn't aware of before and in turn i now have a few extra people to watch. But in this case it's not a matter of arbitrarily mixing up your button presses to be considered better. It's the fact you can literally hear her click-click-click-click until her stamina is empty, causing her to get caught in enemy attacks. She's just not playing well. And she's getting as salty as a 12 year old in CoD to boot. Of course she's free to play the game any way she wants but it's like constantly pressing the acceleration button in a racing game and wondering why you can't get around corners.
i don't think that's the biggest problem. i'm sure there are lots of smaller tubers with those, the larger problem is the video quality and the amount of people playing it blind :/
Too bad that DS1/DS2 bossfights aren't even close to as threatening as the BB/DS3. Would be much more boring to watch. They only ever hit me a handful of times when the Prince caught me in a role used to evade one of the Prince's direct attacks. And considering I fought him an ungodly amount of times (bc I fought him for the first time in ng++++) the few times it hit me is a miniscule chance. That's why I always went with the supernova
I seriously hated the laser beam demon since it can track from anywhere. The strat for the homing meteor version is to stay under him till the ground glows white, then run as far as possible and watch all the meteors fall on top of the demon.
I fought this boss three or four times and I still don’t know which one does what in Phase 2. First time I fought the laser one once, every other time it was meteors. Is the Demon from Below the Lasers or the Meteors?

hwo else thinks that the ringed city is basicly a best of dark souls? a gank/beast boss, some pvp, a dragon and a great warrior as bosses. a township, a swamp, some caves and a dragon breathing fire on a bridge, some overpowered npc's, an old boss as a mini boss and of course patches. such a nice end to the series and always fair edit: funny that the player wth the dark sword sucks the most ;)
it will be next to impossible for her to kill midir I did it at SL 96 with a lightning blade buffed lothric knight great sword and I still dealt only like 450 damage to the head. edit: gael is quite managable tho with the right weapon my claymore stunned him after three hits whish made the first phase a lot easier
I still prefer AotA, The Old Hunters and Crown of the Burnt Ivory King. The Ringed City felt a bit too much like discount Anor Londo in terms of stylization. I will say it's the best part of DS3 though.

Ismael Zaragoza I loved midir's fight even though he made me rage quit a lot but when I fought him all my deaths felt justified, knowing it was cause I was just shit.
Idk I died to midir once or twice my first time fighting him, but after I gave him a try in ng+ as my level 125, I never died to him since I memorized his attacks and their timings. It also helps that I would always be level 80+ fighting him

i know im 3 years late but i appreciate you taking the time to make fairly seemless transitions between clips. swapping during the same animations makes it look really clean. you didn't have to do that but it's appreciated

This boss beat my ass to the point where I took a hiatus from the game for a solid month. Was constantly thinking about it throughout my break. Today i had the courage to face them. Couple tries later, down to my last hp. No more estus. I beat the boss. The joy was something I havent felt in months. Still shaking from the adrenaline. What a game.
I think my favorite part is the bonfire being soo close to the boss and not having to run a mile to get to the fog gate, unlike with the twin princes in where you gotta either take a slow ass elevator and run or just run through a valley of knights and super knights in order to get to him. I also got lucky and downed him in just 10-15 minutes. Didn't even expect to do that lol.
This is my favorite DS3 boss, hands down. Just the right difficulty, minimal bullshit moves, makes you learn from mistakes, punishes roll spamming, incorporates status effects in a fair way, smart tactics/AI, changes moveset of Prince depending on which demon you kill first, large arsenal of different attacks, awesome aesthetics, and a large arena with a few obstacles. I wouldn't say it's the overall best fight in the game, nor the hardest, but it's a *lot* of fun. :D
Tbh Gaels the best just bc each phase is so awesome and every single change means something. Unlike the other bosses, it's effectively *the* final battle. After he sees his blood and realises it's the blood of the dark soul and instantly becomes hollow, and after the second cutscene you're literally fighting the closest the dark soul has been to a true embodiment. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
I like how you sometimes swap between perspectives when ever there's an attack that happens in both videos in a similar way. It's a neat editing trick.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anyone else point it out so I’ll say it, this guy’s transitions from streamer to streamer are outstanding. A streamer will get hit and then it will switch to another streamer getting hit the exact same way. Very seamless and worthy of praise in my opinion
When I was playing earlier today I was not expecting another phase after the two dudes were down. But I finally beat the boss after like 40 minutes or so! :D
Everything in this boss looks apocalyptic: the moveset, the sound design, the music, the fx etc, clearly one of the greatest boss in video games history
From a lore perspective, poison and fire are either opposites, or one in the same. Both are consuming, with poison eating away at flesh and strength while fire drains life, light, and fire. This is most apparent in the Demon Prince boss fight, as the initially kindled Demon will exhaust it's flame and begin to use poison, whereas the weakened Demon will burn with a new fire.
I just got to this boss the other day and I'm not gonna lie my whole reaction after defeating the two demons was "alright that was hard but I have overcome! *claps* alright wheres my victory achiv-...why is the demon on fire? Oh shit...

My way of making through phase 1 is to run and dodge till both are ranged mode so its safe to attack, then I focus on getting laser boi phase 2... 4 attempts I got it with 1-2 estus left and it was hard but fun

Idk I died to midir once or twice my first time fighting him, but after I gave him a try in ng+ as my level 125, I never died to him since I memorized his attacks and their timings. It also helps that I would always be level 80+ fighting him

This boss beat my ass to the point where I took a hiatus from the game for a solid month. Was constantly thinking about it throughout my break. Today i had the courage to face them. Couple tries later, down to my last hp. No more estus. I beat the boss. The joy was something I havent felt in months. Still shaking from the adrenaline. What a game.

I think my favorite part is the bonfire being soo close to the boss and not having to run a mile to get to the fog gate, unlike with the twin princes in where you gotta either take a slow ass elevator and run or just run through a valley of knights and super knights in order to get to him. I also got lucky and downed him in just 10-15 minutes. Didn't even expect to do that lol.
I just loved seeing the look of accomplishment on their faces slowly drain when they realized the real boss fight was just starting
This is my favorite DS3 boss, hands down. Just the right difficulty, minimal bullshit moves, makes you learn from mistakes, punishes roll spamming, incorporates status effects in a fair way, smart tactics/AI, changes moveset of Prince depending on which demon you kill first, large arsenal of different attacks, awesome aesthetics, and a large arena with a few obstacles. I wouldn't say it's the overall best fight in the game, nor the hardest, but it's a *lot* of fun. :D
Absolute Zero my favorite bosses in the franchise are probably Ludwig and Gael because to me they have the right amount of difficulty
Tbh Gaels the best just bc each phase is so awesome and every single change means something. Unlike the other bosses, it's effectively *the* final battle. After he sees his blood and realises it's the blood of the dark soul and instantly becomes hollow, and after the second cutscene you're literally fighting the closest the dark soul has been to a true embodiment. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

From a lore perspective, poison and fire are either opposites, or one in the same. Both are consuming, with poison eating away at flesh and strength while fire drains life, light, and fire. This is most apparent in the Demon Prince boss fight, as the initially kindled Demon will exhaust it's flame and begin to use poison, whereas the weakened Demon will burn with a new fire.
I just got to this boss the other day and I'm not gonna lie my whole reaction after defeating the two demons was "alright that was hard but I have overcome! *claps* alright wheres my victory achiv-...why is the demon on fire? Oh shit...

My way of making through phase 1 is to run and dodge till both are ranged mode so its safe to attack, then I focus on getting laser boi phase 2... 4 attempts I got it with 1-2 estus left and it was hard but fun

Demon Prince is weak to slash damage, using exile greatsword would be even better than black knight weapons.
