Fire! Just straight fire. Man awesome reaction. And you're right abouts songs that exist that are amazing regardless of genre but that we have no idea. Love your energy. You made my day man.
The answer to your first question is yes, he's playing it perfectly for that long. It's called a riff coming from a guitar or bass, so you'd say "is he playing that riff...." and the thing about the riff he's playing is that it's extremely easy to do and very simplistic, but it sounds awesome because of the effects he's adding (phaser, delay, overdrive, likely some others to get his signature sound). He's playing one open note repeatedly with a tapping pattern on the same string at a much slower pace. I'm really not even a fan of this band, their vocalist kind of ruins it for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction!
As a long time listener of this bad I can say this made me smile so hard seeing how hype you got. You are in for a treat the further down into their catalog you go.
Fun fact about A7X: they used to be a metalcore band. They made music in the same genre as Killswitch Engage and it was fire. Songs like Unholy Confessions are shining examples of the genre.
We (my army unit) blared this song on loud speakers while in Afghanistan before going out on missions. The moment we started rolling outside the wire we would play “Bodies” by Drowning Pool on the speakers because we knew the locals hated that song and we were looking for a fight.
Way to ruin this song lol. Went from Game of Thrones imagery to "bro we blasted this shit before raiding Afghan villages by cause the third-world civilians being invaded hated that shit"

Within the first minute, you got my sub. That energy, it's infectious! Couple reasons I love metal: Story-telling, imagery, lyricality, depth and energy. Yes he is playing it, seen them many times in concert and they kill it live!
The ENTIRE nightmare album by A7X is FIIIIIRE. Front to back. These guys have always been wicked.
City of Evil and Waking the Fallen to just as hard 💪
Your happiness is contagious my friend. Never stop being exactly who you are.
A7X is such a good band if you think this is good the live concerts from them are an absolute spectacle. Went to go see them when they released the Nightmare album and that show was amazing. Honestly their albums as a whole are absolutely killer even sounding the seventh trumpet their first album.
It’s not a tapping riff but it is a very simple riff. It’s picked on the B and high E strings. Great riff though
Second Heartbeat is still my favorite Avenged song.
I must have watched this reaction over and over 10 times. Cracks me up. I loved it. AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
We (my army unit) blared this song on loud speakers while in Afghanistan before going out on missions. The moment we started rolling outside the wire we would play “Bodies” by Drowning Pool on the speakers because we knew the locals hated that song and we were looking for a fight.
We'd roll out playing "Battery" by Metallica - we were an Artillery Maneuver Battery. :D
For us it was always MIA or Gunslinger, blared as loud as we could
I feel like anything by sabaton would be more fitting. Seeing as all their songs are literally about wars throughout history
Way to ruin this song lol. Went from Game of Thrones imagery to "bro we blasted this shit before raiding Afghan villages by cause the third-world civilians being invaded hated that shit"
@@nnbn9204 the same third-world citizens who would use their kids as suicide bombers? The same ones who would gun down men doing humanitarian aid? Yeah, I'm not too broken up about it, fucking Hail to the King
It's such a kickass song! The look on your face and how that mug lit up brought so much fucking joy to my life just now! Rock on my man!
A7X is a bad ass band. their newer stuff not so much but Nightmare, Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot, Unholy Confessions, Afterlife, Almost Easy, and This Means War! This is a gateway band for me.
Fantastic reaction! I don’t even mess with Avenged like that anymore, but this song and This Means War are classics! Keep on doing what you’re doing!
this is not the right Avenged Sevenfold song; A Little Piece of Heaven is a god damn masterpiece. 8 minutes of pure musical genius. but you should check out Nine Inch Nails. I will keep saying this until you do. The Hand that Feeds is my favorite song but We’re In This Together Now is good too
Nooo ALPoH is too corny, it's like Chop Suey for SOAD. It shouldn't be one of the first songs of theirs you hear, it's literally so different from everything else they do
@@happygilmore511 I don’t think it’s corny, but I see your point that it shouldn’t be one of the first songs you hear from them. I still think it’s a phenomenal song though, and it’s my favorite song from them
This song should have played in the film 300, right when Leonidas says, "Give them Nothing, but take from them, EVERYTHING!"
One of my favorite movies EVER
@@HollywoodRobTV same here! Easy top 3 for me!
dont waste your time with coldplay, its all literal trash
I love watching people listen to "New songs" that I've known of for years and walking around thinking everyone's heard them.. It lets me feel like I'm listening to it for the first time again.. And as for recommending new music, PLEASE I love listening to new music.
I've watched your take 10 times over. Always delivers the goods Rob. 10 out of 10.
Their catalog is DEEP, might want to hear more of theirs
This is my first time watching one of your reactions. You are one of my favorites.
I love your animated reaction. It is how I feel listening to this.
I wish everyone in the world could have energy as infectious as yours, you are naturally enjoyable to watch!
I live seeing people discover bands that I take for granted. It really does remind me of that first time hearing that song. Your reactions rekindle the flames of the jaded. Thank you 🙏
Your enthusiasm in these videos are perfect.
Avenged Sevonfold is one of my absolute favorite bands in the world. This reaction got me hyped like it was my first time hearing it again!
That being said, do I Wont See You Tonight pt. 1
Major kudos for stepping out of what you are comfortable with and giving other music genres a legitimate try. I used to hate hip hop until about 10 years ago, and I listen to lots of it now. Keep these videos coming.
Bro youve got the best reaction and set of ears ever , perfect
Within the first minute, you got my sub. That energy, it's infectious!
Couple reasons I love metal: Story-telling, imagery, lyricality, depth and energy. Pop these days lacks a lot of creativity I get from genres like metal. And of course, they always go HARD. On the other hand, I don't listent o much rap/hip hop. But since discovering NF, he has also quickly become a favorite artist of mine. Because he is one thing I wish more artists were. *Real*
