Is it though??? Adam hills his net worth is a whooping 110million. Someone who earns minimum wage and gives 5 dollar has given more than the miserable 47.000 dollar Adam gave and that's not counting the fact that he has written that 47.000 dollars off his taxes. Which means he's given fuck all. We need to stop glorifying philanthropist worth millions. Because although their intentions might look good from the outside, once looking into it you discover that.

To right buddy. People seem to forget that there is literally no Christian denomination and no Christian church that wants to be associated with them. To be honest 2 things about the WBC annoy me. 1: they claim to do things in the name of God when the Bible condemns their actions and 2: that there are lots of people that want to paint all Christians with the same brush, the brush of the WBC.

I love how all the people who are upset over this are Americans who seem to expect an Australian comedian to solve the problem of the WBC. Firstly, The UK and US governments clearly weren't fans of the idea and thus probably advised him against it, as alluded to in the beginning of the clip. And even if he sent them and they were killed (and there's a fairly good chance they would be), how can you expect any decent human being to live with that responsibility, no matter how vile the people?
So pull your heads in. You look like arseholes, getting angry over someone encouraging donations to a charity instead of sending people to their deaths. And maybe sort your own shit out.

Yes, sane people still exist. The WBBC has everything twisted. Christianity has its mistakes. But it goes to show that no one is capable of perfection, including God. That is just how the natural world is. For however WBBC spits their hatred, it will be measured tenfold. I've always found that at least trying to understand another person's views make life easier. People may not want to accept everyone's, but why not try to understand them?

This church feeds off our hatred and anger of them. In their warped minds It makes them justify that what they do is right. And they get off from being talked about and shown in news media.
I realised this after I watched the Louis Theroux documentary about them. And after seeing their juvenile response to you challenging them.
I have nothing but pity for them, especially the children who were brainwashed in to living a life that doesn't have any respect or love for others and is all about spreading hate in the name of their religion.
I think about how much good they could do if they put all that obsessive hate energy in to spreading love and helping people instead.
I don't think these people will ever stop but i think we can probably stop feeding their attention seeking hateful protests by not publishing photos of their protests in the media. Or if we do. Maybe blur their signs and their faces. Not to censor them but to stop giving them publicity the want.
And the weirdest thing is that the "addressing hate and intolerance with compassion and love" is exactly what Jesus Christ said (He said it in Hebrew though ;P ).
So anyone thinking that WBC has anything to do with Christians is grossly mistaken...

It reminds me of the time Doug Stanhope set up a crowd funding site for the woman who lost everything in a hurricane in Kansas(maybe?) because he admired the fact that she admitted to being an atheist on southern television, I think it raised about a quarter of a million dollars for her which was brilliant, but Stanhope says he didn't do it out of any sort of charity for her or because of her bravery admitting that in the south but because he just wanted to piss off Christians who prayed for relief that didn't come! Adam is wrong they DO frequently picket funerals (military funerals in particular). They became such an embarrassment that they are restricted to not picketing within 500 ft of one. There are some nice things happen to them though. A man bought the house and when he realised who his neighbours were, he painted his new house in rainbow colours. A little girl from California got her father to take her there a couple of years ago (it's a long way) and set up a lemonade stand obj the street to raise money for (as I remember) AIDS research.
What Adam was referring to is that they often say they will picket the funerals of celebrities like Robin William's but they very rarely actually go through with it.

The Last Leg started during the Paralympics and often deals with issues around disability, so this was something they wanted to address (and they did, later in the show).
