I know I’m way late to the show but…duty cycle is broken down into a 10 min frame. 100% is only 10 straight mins. Which obviously isn’t the case here where it got so hot that fast. That is wild.
Ya surprised me too, just how hot it got so fast. I actually just got a water circulator that I'm gonna turn into tig cooler and get a #18 water cooled torch. Hopefully that will actually stay cool
@@tdm8817 You may also want to try something like a heavy hitters tig torch, Ive heard good things about those, and they can run at a true 100% duty cycle, a bit above their rated amperage
@@cameronh123456 ya I've seen those and Wana get one but I'm sceptical cause I haven't seen a proper test of them. Just alot of guys bragging about them. Reminds me of a sleezy car salesman that will tell ya whatever ya Wana hear to make a sale. That having been said they do seem to be the most heavy built air cooled torch that I've seen
