Do you know the part number for the Ford Baldwin filter? it fits the cummins also?
@@connorgaston9535 if it's a Cummins 5.9 it would be this same filter
@@tdm8817 around 1:55 you mention that the ford 6.7 oil filter is the same exact thread but a much finer filter and that you're running that filter on your pickup now.. which baldwin filter are you referring to there?
@connorgaston9535 o got ya, that's a Baldwin b7379 I've been using those on my 01 Dodge and have also adapted that filter to other vehicles I have. I dunno if I've made a video of it but I've been using that filter on my john Deere 310 D backhoe
Thanks for the video, is this a humidifier? With a different name
@@jerrychambers7267 no it takes in atmospheric air and puts out nearly 100% oxygen

This one is more money than the 255EXT, but this one has plasma. I also noticed it has knobs instead of digital, which some people prefer, but with the 255EXT you can leave some settings in a program. IDK what other differences there are, I have to watch your whole video in the AM. Otherwise, IDK why they make a 255 and a 256. The 256 bundle with water cooling and a cart is 2400$ on sale.
Yours is digital too, I'm a bit confused. I should just call Everlast...
@@dc6233 I personally much prefer the knobs vs the other options everlast has, seems like most models of welders come with the digital or analog interface even tho the welder itself is digital inverter. I don't change settings much so having different programs loaded isn't a selling point to me. But that's me and my usage and everyone is different.
Not good.
I recently purchased the same machine and I can say that I regret it a thousand times over. These welders are supposed to be of good quality and that slow pre-weld effect sucks. I can say that easwood welders and even Harbour Freight sell better welders than this piece of junk.
@@soldatekweldsolutions1057 what all problems are you having with yours? Mine has been fantastic

You're making a big deal about a burr that disappears the second the chain touches the wood, forget the burr it isnt an issue. I dont have an CBN because im cheap but they work great if you dont obsess about the burr and go cut wood. I dressed my tecomec pink wheel on the side making it about 4mm thick not 4.7mm(3/16), I like it better, I get more hook with the thinner wheel.
@@nseric1233 I'm making a big deal of it because of how damm expensive the weeks are, for that price I would expect it to outperform a standard abrasive wheel. You say you don't own a CBN wheel but have you used one that you got good results with?
@@tdm8817 You are getting good results with yours lol.
@@nseric1233 I suppose you and I have a different definition of the word good.
You are removing entirely too much material, of course it will leave a bur. A cbn wheel is NOT a grinding wheel, it is a dressing wheel. You need to adjust your angle.
@@sethcastillo3268 unfortunately even if I take a tiny amount it will still give the same results. And what angles would you suggest, the angels I'm using here are very standard. Do you have a CBN wheel that you get good results with?
@@tdm8817 the angle is too steep or you're just not setting the teeth guide to not hold too much of the cutter ahead, thus leading to the burr.... you ALWAYS want to remove little material as possible when sharpening (speaking from experience from knife sharpening)
@BeezyKing99 what angles are you referring to, the head tilt or the chain vice, I've got the head tilt at 40⁰ and chain vice at 25⁰ like the Stihl manual recommends. And what do you mean by the teeth guide? I'm not familiar with that terminology. Sometimes you have to remove alot of material when a chain is rocked out really hard and the Stihl wheels easily do that without the burr hence why I like them better, the CBN seems like a step backwards to me. Do you use CBN wheels for knifes?
Unfortunately I disagree completely.
@@dennisthemenace57 ok no worries, but can you explain that more? What exactly do you disagree with?
Good information and video. I'm redoing an old 3500 pound ATV winch to try out the synthetic rope, shackles, and a ring because I don't believe all of the hype. Hi, i have 2 similar engines. Actually MN5, but also single cylinder water cooled diesels. Almost exact same configuration. im installing these up pipes on my truck now. I still have the egr cooler tho. can i leave the connector to the egr cooler on and just weld a block off plate on? I wouldn’t see why not I have a egr cooler from tuner depot with the welded ports I’m going to get the same up-pipe and leave the flange on it to keep my egr cooler sturdy

@@aurileus226 well there are a thousand and one options you could go with for a filter. This is just what I had on hand that day. I would like to replace this was maybe a racor style fuel filter at some point
you obviously are not an expert on this as there are countless parts makers that producing " knockoffs " legally and according oem specifications in regard of fitment and quality. Car makers dont make parts, they are buying them from companies like Bosch,Denso,Bilstein, etc etc etc and everybody is making parts for everybody, you can even find an item with parts from diff. makers, i.e a tensioner with spring made by A and the pulley made by B maker. Maybe you need te redefine the word knock off
@@karpoezi first off who claimed I was a so called "expert" And yes I'm well aware car makers don't produce all there own parts. If anything that was the point of this video was showing exactly that and that in this case the eBay seller was being completely honest in that I got the original manufacturer parts for this application. I would define knockoff as something that is not OEM pretending to be. There are tons of examples of that online and just cause a company says they meet OEM specs doesn't mean they actually do.
Would you still recommend this machine?? I’m thinking about jumping on it
@@Mundane-Doom I would ya. Aside from this problem it Works fine I just wish it had more power

Good to know 😊
My family did this a few years back, ran diesel in an Aladdin. Ice storm, power out, wood stove wasn't keeping up. No kerosene, very short on resources, but had gallons of diesel. We weren't looking for light so much as heat. We couldn't turn it up high and it carboned up the wick every few hours and had to be cleaned, but it definitely helped heat the house and we were thankful.
No exaggeration -> I’ve watched every M12 4.0 / 6.0ah battery balancing tutorial on TH-cam and on every single one of these videos, the one step I need help with/instruction on is performed off camera, the footage skips ahead, and boom … the upper red casing has been miraculously removed and the 3 vertical batteries are exposed. They make a good product and they mess up on the air filter, I can't believe it. Either they do it on purpose or they are total fools.
@@antomarkic7190 what do ya mean? Do what on purpose?
@@tdm8817 Well, most of the filters that Stihl installs on their models are bad. Judge for yourself if it was intentional
@@antomarkic7190 ok I thought you were saying max flow mess up on there filters. I think the Stihl hd2 air filter is good. But it will plug up fast depending on conditions. The air filter on my ts400 concrete saw is kick ass and both of the leaf blowers I have come with good air filters. I wouldn't say most of the Stihl air filters are bad for the examples I've seen my self. The MS500 seems to be notorious for passing sawdust past the foam washer that's definitely not good and I do wish Stihl did a better job overall, but I would say that with any manufacturer I can think of

What model is the steam cleaner?
@@jheissjr that's not a steam cleaner. That's just compressed air. All of that is dust that was packed in the cooler
There was so much dust I thought it was steam haha
@@jheissjr ya looking back on it now it shure dose look like steam. That thing was the dustiest truck I've ever seen. Wish I had taken more video of it. This video here was actually after about a minute of blowing out the cooler. It was far worse when I started. Most everything had a several inch layer of dust on it cause it was a pit truck that just drove around the yard at 15 mph so it never got up to highway speeds to clear it off.

Did you ever consider getting a watercooled setup. You can basically get a number 9 size torch with a similar amp rating of a 26 give or take a little. We had the Euro style 26 with the stiffest hose I've ever come across before or since. No foot pedal, the trigger on the Euro torch couldn't be moved. Basically like welding with a lump hammer attached to an old stiff garden hose. Now using CK 20 flex is like welding with a pencil so nice.

24 Volt BATTERY BALANCERS would Help allot and They should Level Out over night when not in use.
@@1GREATDANE funny enough I learned about the balancers about an hour after making this video. I ordered one and it's on its way, curious to see how well they work
@@tdm8817 I Run CHINS 280AH Batteries paired in 24 Volt Packs and use VICTRON Battery Balancers and All 8 Batteries are Even Money. Same for 4 RENOGY 200AH AGM Batteries in the same Fashion here. That's a cool set up. What kind.of battery charger do you use to plug into your outlet? I also have a 24v system with 6 lithium batt and 600w solar setup but when batteries get too low I have to disconnect and charge each batt individually because my mppt charge controller won't charge if batteries get too low like less than 25v
@@donjohnson9013 that charger is a powermax 24 volt converter they call it. It's a bad ass little charger that is adjustable and has different configurations you can set it to. I've used CBN wheels over 10 years now. If I get a chain that's in bad shape to where I have to take more than a few hairs off it overheats and leaves a nasty burr just like this video shows and it sucks. I just bought the stihl sharpener and will find out soon how good these wheels are. Im thinking the problem with these CBN wheels are too fine of grit and slower removal which over heats the metal
@@donjohnson9013 o nice! I'd be curious to hear how you like this grinder and wheels once ya give it a try!
I did get the hedge trimmer attachment and liked the way the supplied grinding wheel performed but will let you know once i use it on chains. The sharpener i used before was the tecomic jolly?. The.tooth stopper was pretty unstable and innacurate. I too wasted $100 or more for each CBN wheel and I have 3.
Really great video. I have been wanting to get a battery-based system up and running like this for so many years. I would like to hear more about the AH rating, load tests, and your plans on how far down you plan on running the battery bank down, given the group 31 class of batteries being used. 50%? More, less? Have you noticed a better overall balance in amperage after having installed the center groups of jumpers? At this point the only suggestion I may offer is to put a 30 to 50 amp charge in 15 minute cycles on the batteries in an effort to rejuvenate them. I have pulse changer that automates the processes but am also going to try a welder or older charger for that purpose. I have been able to correct 2 batteries into a serviceable state, so I know it can work, with many others not working. I have also heard that a "weak" battery will have a much higher chance of being corrected than one that is more or less not taking a charge, which I tend to agree with. Please keep going and let us know how testing goes and what you end up applying this to.
@@steve8189 I would need to make a video all on it's own to give a proper response to this and I might do that here in a bit but I haven't done any load testing of these batteries. Just slapped some grimey ol truck batteries on a pallet and sent it lol Im probably going to run these down to very low voltage maybe 11.5 or so just for the sake of stress testing and seeing what the limit is. I've seen the pulse chargers but would like to try the chemical option first. But as I learn more and test more with these batteries I'll post more about it
@@tdm8817 understood. I really liked the good information you provided
I dont see why not, in your situation great I with I could get used batteries that easily, they dont have different use anyways so if you dont have problem with weight and the powerdensity this is very good solution Its only importatnt to keep the series batteries the same, or more proticulary keep the paralel groups (that will be conected in series) same capacity AH, it would be best to test each battery and then create 2 paralel groups with the same AH capacity
@@Jarda_B i don't currently have a proper battery tester so I was just guessing with how I arranged the batteries. I'll get one in the future and try to match them up.
