Yep, deffo his own hair..he used to be a hairdresser up here in Liverpool before Dead or Alive. Pete was a funny, intelligent bloke, largely misunderstood by the press. Anyway, my school discos always livened up when You Spin me Round came on.
According to his hair close to his hairline, I'm sure he had a perm or 2 done. Also, he used to have rasta hair ,and it took him quite a while to get out of it, as you can see him in "Misty circles" and " I'd do anything" and bits of them in Spin Me. Perm was done there for sure in my opinion for styling those gorgeous curls. But, with time hair gets less full because of the chemical damage, he might have used some hair extensions, not entirely sure, but most of it is definitely his own hair. And I adore his hairline a lot ❤️
So from my point of view, I wasn’t really aware of the physical side of Pete (I had heard the song ‘You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)’ years back, and a number of times since!), until more recent years. I saw him in Big Brother, and to me he had this kind of elegance in the eyes. (I think the eyes are most important about a person’s face, they portray the most beauty to me.) I watched Pete’s final interview days ago, and I realised I wasn’t even aware of other songs, and music videos, that I’m discovering now! For me, it’s a ‘treat’ to discover these videos from years ago.
Not only was Pete Burns a talented music artist , this guy spoke his mind with no holds barred when he was asked questions. I saw him speak his mind when he guest starred on the UK TV show Big Brother, where he confronted one of the women and made fun of her when she was voted out, and in a later episodes of the show. The only tragic thing was when he had cosmetic surgery done on his face. I really think he looked better before, than after. His music videos show his beautiful smile when he does, before he did the cosmetic surgery. RIP Pete Burns.

All he wanted was simple lip injections and a nose job both simple but somehow the doctor botched both. The infection spread and ate hole in his throat lips and even spread to his eye. He went thrugh hell on earth and still continued on. So much respect
April 2022 and I still love this song. Great memories of the 1980’s. Kids these days don’t know how much fun in those days. We didn’t have cell phones and we didn’t care about what we did even know about.

I respect him, and like that he's always been forthright about himself and others. He's quickly become one of my favorite celebrities, and people for that matter. What the public sees is a plastic facade, but underneath lies a person that's very real. He is extraordinary.
