I have a 2019 Silverado and found this pretty helpful, but I'm struggling with the recess in the middle of the light getting the film to right at the top of the light. Any suggestions?
Honestly I'm not sure, you have to leave an air channel in the recessed area so you can lay it in. Smooth it in the direction of the air channel and finish that spot last.
I've helped a buddy do his and we had to wrap the tint around the back of the housing. The first time we didn't and it peeled? I c that you just wrapped it perfectly and cut to fit. We just some diy guys so we don't do it for customers or anything. Any thing u think we're doing wrong please advise. Thanks again keep the vids coming.
Man I'm just so busy no time to edit and upload. Yeah I cut and then tuck the extra around the backside and I don't have any issues. Heat it up really good after your done...it's called POST heating. Good luck.
I personally don't like to use that brand. Even so make sure you don't stress the film on the edges. It will want to pull back. Also when finished heat the material like I did which is called post heating. It can make the film loose its memory. That's what you want it to do. Stay put.
I've been installing it for a while now with no issues so honestly I've never had to talk about warranty. Of course if there was a problem right away I'd just take care of it. I have it on mine for over half a year and it still looks good.
I got 15% all around and im planning on doing my full windshield now my question is will 50% on the shield look dark since I already have 15% on the rest of the car??
Yes, that's pretty much what I have. 20% Sides and 40% my numbers are close to yours and my car is dark but I'm still able to see with my lighter windshield.
It's not all that bad but I have found the way to do them flat side first them move to the side leave and air gap then push in the recessed area and finish the side. You can charge good money and it doesn't take that long to do.
@@FadeToBlackLLC You have me on facebook, shoot me a message with a couple typical prices you would charge and I'm gonna give it a shot. I don't know any one else that does this currently so i would be lost on pricing.
This film is transparent so you can see out of all of the shades. I'd go Medium which you can tell looks tinted but not black. I just did another video this morning with Mid Shade.
@@FadeToBlackLLC have a link to the vid with the medium, trying to decide between dark like this bide and medium? Thanks! You are a very skillful dude!
If you guys tint lenses let me know??? I forgot to include footage of them finished...my bad!!!
Great job! Skills, yes, no doubt but geez 😬 the patience for this process!!
Just take one area at a time till you get it all Wrapped 😁
You are the real deal.. looks fantastic
Appreciate you watching!
Great to see this done. That sunken spot midway had me really concerned. I’m going to give this a shot on my black blackout
Just leave an air channel and work the film from one side to the opening.
🔥🔥🔥 Love it I can't wait to do my 2018 silver silverado same way
$600 for new tail lights or $30 for some film
Let me know how it turns out!
Excellent work. Learned a lot.
Appreciate you watching!
You make that look so easy, I couldn't do it on a 2011 Silverado taillights, they don't have all them curves. Left little wrinkles.
Have you tried using Luxe? It's a really nice film to work with.
No, I used Vivid, im fixing to get some lux!
@@MrSpike0358 you'll like using it and the gloss finish is really nice.
Love it, Nice Job Bro🔥💯
Thanks for watching!
That turned out super nice Im on fence tinting my 15 Silverado vs buying some aftermarket tail lights. How long does the tint usually hold up for?
I've had mine for a couple of years with no issues. Some of the new tail lights look pretty trick though.

What causes the light to peel back? Have cts coupe and they are hard to do. Next morning come out and it’s peeling . Using vvivid

How long does it take till you can roll down the windows
I tell my customers around two days.
What would you charge per light For vinyl? I’m thinking $50
I usually start around $100 for a pair and go from there depending on how difficult they are.
Is this the med or dark film
That’s the dark film I have medium installed on my van with a video on my channel as well.
How difficult is this? Always wanted to add it at the shop but haven't had the confidence to try.

What percent is the tail light tint
It's Luxe Darkest they have. Not really a %. Light medium and dark.
Where can I get this tint?

Dark tail lights look so mean with the white or silver paint jobs
Seems like most vehicles I do are white or black. It's crazy!

Like to have that on my van
They look good to bad that they are illegal :(
That all depends on what state you are in. Here in Florida it isn't illegal.
I do this install a lot up here with no issues
