Anyone spouting "Oscar bait" needs to shut up. This is HARRIET TUBMAN. One of the greatest heroes in human history. It's a damn shame and a crime that she hasn't had a movie made about her until now.

God put them into slavery and he said only he would remove them when they return to him. Millions of his children are still in slavery/prison. Based on the Bible it was our ancestors faults. They wanted to be like their enemies, so God gave us to them: Genesis 15:13-14 is mentioned in HR 1242 from the American Government. Aug 2020 marked the end of the 400 years.
      Deuteronomy 28, Deuteronomy 30:1-7, Joel 3, Rev 2:9, Rev 3:9, 2 Esdras 15.
The world will be afraid when they realize who we are and when they remember what they did to God’s chosen people: Wisdom of Solomon 5:1-7
The tribulation mentioned in Revelation will be for what they have done. Hundreds of scriptures say it
Tick tok, times up. God is coming for his children and Satan knows it. They haven’t made all these end of the world movies for no reason:
Jeremiah 30:11 I am with you and will save you,' declares the LORD. 'Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.'

Not that I think this is your case, but if I were God I might feel some type of way if the clay pots I made started telling me what I should do with them. I just see a lot of people think what they think matters and it doesn’t. Only what God thinks matter

HARRIET IN HER BIOGRAPHY SAID SHE GOT HER MINE GRAINS FROM BEAT IN THE HEAD BY HER SLAVE MASTER, IN THE FILM IT DOESN'T EXPLAIN HOW SHE GOT THE MINE GRAINS AND STARTED HAVING VISIONS. IN THE FILM HARRIET WAS A CHRISTIAN BUT IN HER BIOGRAPHY SHE SAID HER FAMILY WOULD ALWAYS TEACH HER HEBREW IN PRIVACY AND TAUT HER THAT SHE WAS A DIRECT DECENDANT OF THE LOST TRIBES OF ISRAEL AND CALLED JESUS BY HIS ACTUAL NAME WHICH IS YAHUWAH LIKE MANY SLAVES DID, THEY CALLED GOD AND JESUS BY THEIR ACTUAL NAMES ( READ THE BOOK >>> WHAT THEY NEVER WOULD TEACH YOU ABOUT BLACK HISTORY ) SO WHY WASN'T THIS IN THE FILM, IF THIS FILM WAS MADE BY BLACK PEOPLE WHY COULDN'T THEY GET IT ALL RIGHT, WHY NOT EVEN MENTION HARRIOT'S HEBREW ISRAELITE ROOTS SO THE WORLD WOULD KNOW THE TRUTH. COULD IT POSSIBLY BE THEY WHERE AFRAID OF THE FAKE JEWS RUNNING THE PRODUCTION COMPANY. IF SO WHY DON'T BLACK PEOPLE JUST CREATE THEIR OWN PRODUCTION COMPANIES AND TELL IT LIKE IT TRULY WAS AND HIRE TRUE BLACK AMER.. ACTORS TO PLAY THOSE ROLES WHO HAVE AT LEAST SOME KNOWLEDGE ABOUT WHAT TRULY HAPPENED IN HISTORY. AND THE BLACK MEN NEED TO STOP TAKING ON ROLES WHERE THEIR THE BAD GUYS ESPECIALLY IN A FILM LIKE THIS WHERE IN TRUE HISTORY THERE WHERE NEVER ANY BLACK SLAVE CAPTORS ( BOUNTY HUNTERS ). BLACK MEN NEED TO ALSO STOP TAKING ON ROLES WHERE THEY CROSS DRESS OR ACT LIKE SISSYS AND OR DIE OFF IN A FILM. THIS IS A INVISIBLE ATTACK ON BLACK PEOPLE. THAT'S WHY GOD SAYS YOUR EYES MUST BE OPEN, IT'S IN THE CENTER OF YOUR HEAD MEANING GAINING KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND BEING SPIRITUALLY ALERT TO SUCH ATTACKS

To be fair, American schools don't have time to cover everything in depth. I don't know how schools in England do it. I mean, "American History" classes try to essentially cover from 1620 to 1945 (at least in my day; for events from 1945 to the present, it was the "Contemporary Affairs" class). But in England, "English History" would have to cover over a thousand years. Do they cover it over multiple years, or is everything covered in just very shallow manner?

I just watched the movie and I am in love with Harriet Tubman!!! As a Ghanaian, watching this movie has really really made me PROUD! She wasn't just brave and Strong but she was a WOMAN OF GOD(Seer). She walked with the Lord, she talked to Him, she acknowledged God in all her directions just as Proverbs says "in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path". This movie reminds me of Methodist Hymn 516. When we walk with the Lord, in the light of His Word. What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, and with all who will TRUST and OBEY.

When I was a kid, in the 70s, I devoured adventure fiction., as well as stories of true adventure and heroes of history. I forget where I first heard her name, but I checked out a biography from my elementary school library and read about this amazing woman. Her escape to freedom was amazing, in and of itself; but, then, she went back, again and again and again, to free others. I learned about the spiritual, "Go Down Moses," and read more about the activities of the Underground Railroad. It opened a whole world of history to a white kid, from an Illinois farm town.

HARRIET IN HER BIOGRAPHY SAID SHE GOT HER MINE GRAINS FROM BEAT IN THE HEAD BY HER SLAVE MASTER, IN THE FILM IT DOESN'T EXPLAIN HOW SHE GOT THE MINE GRAINS AND STARTED HAVING VISIONS. IN THE FILM HARRIET WAS A CHRISTIAN BUT IN HER BIOGRAPHY SHE SAID HER FAMILY WOULD ALWAYS TEACH HER HEBREW IN PRIVACY AND TAUT HER THAT SHE WAS A DIRECT DECENDANT OF THE 12 LOST TRIBES OF ISRAEL AND CALLED JESUS BY HIS ACTUAL NAME WHICH IS YAHUWAH LIKE MANY SLAVES DID, THEY CALLED GOD AND JESUS BY THEIR ACTUAL NAMES ( READ THE BOOK >>> WHAT THEY NEVER WOULD TEACH YOU ABOUT BLACK HISTORY ) SO WHY WASN'T THIS IN THE FILM, IF THIS FILM WAS MADE BY BLACK PEOPLE WHY COULDN'T THEY GET IT ALL RIGHT, WHY NOT EVEN MENTION HARRIOT'S HEBREW ISRAELITE ROOTS SO THE WORLD WOULD KNOW THE TRUTH. THAT'S WHY GOD SAYS YOUR EYES MUST BE OPEN, IT'S IN THE CENTER OF YOUR HEAD MEANING GAINING KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND BEING SPIRITUALLY ALERT TO SUCH ATTACKS. As a white guy when I become president the first thing I’m doing is making Harriet Tubman a national holiday

Shocking and disappointing how she doesn't even have a whole month or holiday to her name smh

I just saw this movie last night. It was amazing. So intense, thrilling, emotional, triumphing, inspiring, yet sad but beautiful. I knew Harriet was a hero but had no clue what a badass she was! This film will definitely stay with you.
I’m a white guy and my best friend in the world is black. He’s like a brother to me. We hate racism and we don’t let our skin color stop us from being FAMILY! ♥️

The Greek Pianist >>>>>>> TRUE HISTORY >>>> the only white people who helped harriet was FREED IRISH FARMERS AND BLACK FREED SLAVES, THE ENGLISH HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GREEDY ( READ HER TRUE BIOGRAPHY ) HARRIET'S PARENTS NAMED HER HARRIET TUBMAN, THE MOVIE SHE CHANGED HER NAME TO HARRIET TUBMAN WHICH BY THE WAY IS A HEBREW NAME. THAT'S WHY GOD SAYS YOUR EYES MUST BE OPEN, IT'S IN THE CENTER OF YOUR HEAD MEANING GAINING KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND BEING SPIRITUALLY ALERT TO SUCH ATTACKS. AT FIRST WE WAS CALLED HEEBOES BEFORE THEY STARTED CALLING US THE N WORD, HEEBOES TRANSLATES TO HEBREWS >>>>>> www.bing.com/images/search?q=heeboes%20%20slaves%20%20for%20%20sale&qs=n&form=QBIR&sp=-1&pq=heeboes%20slaves%20for%20sale&sc=1-23&sk=&cvid=2EDF9FC5FE444671AC4091815094396F

@@makingmoneyonline4633 in addition, her real name was Armanita Ross. Armanita is the Hebrew name I believe. She was also a Stewart and a descendent of King James. Those ppl she freed were captives who were forced into slavery and they had the surnames Ross and Stewart. She was from the royal seed.

I'm Pakistani and white people are neanderthals not humans so it doesn't count as racism to hate whites.

I remember watching a small, black history teaching film about Harriet Tubman and slavery and I was so in awe by it. Ever since then I’ve wanted a film of only her. _Finally_
