    Thanks for mentioning different direction. I always draw clockwise circles. Tried counter and was amazed by it. Great tip.

    This was great! Also, you can put circles inside a box, which is kind of similar to the plotting out method without having to erase the corners of the box. Thanks! I like how you explain things!

      Yes! Thats another great tip, thanks for commenting. Box technique works as long as you can draw straight lines 😆

    Hello! I’ve just stumbled across your channel during my search for videos for my son. He’s taken an interest in pursuing art (he’s 14). Do you ever tutor or give feedback for those that sign up for your online classes? Thanks for all you provide. Love your videos. ☺️

      Hi, I always give feedback for students who are enrolled in my online courses on Udemy. I tend not to take on new students unless they have been through one of the online courses (link in description) so they know what to expect...which is lots of practice! I've taught drawing to teenagers and in my experience they learn best through short drawing projects where as my courses are a mix of theory and exercises and focus on drawing from observation rather than imagination and character design etc. I do have a more practical course coming out next year and more youtube plans but in the meantime some other channels that might help to keep him interested are Schaefer Art (has a simple learn to draw series on TH-cam), Alfonzo Dunn, Robert Marzullo (drawing comics), also the Draw A Box series for beginners which is on the TH-cam channel called Uncomfortable. Hope that helps!

      @@ThePencilRoomOnline Thank you so much for your response and suggestions! I’m trying to put a curriculum together for him (homeschool), so your suggestions will be a huge help!

    I found rhytmic circles (or ghosting) the best overall, it may be hard at first but in long term it seems the most practical of all. do you have a technique for drawing triangle and squares?

    • @ThePencilRoomOnline
      @ThePencilRoomOnline  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you're exactly right, the rhythmic circles are hardest because it takes some practice to be able to control your hand without it resting on the page but in the long run its definitely the most useful! I dont have a technique specifically for squares or circles but I do have a video on straight lines which applies to drawing any straight edge shape :) th-cam.com/video/PFsPjQbOGGk/w-d-xo.html

    Which technique is better to learn to draw circles and ovals؟

      Loose ellipses is best overall but it can take a little while to develop the coordination so that it is natural! Good to practice it a little bit every time you draw but you can use one of the other methods for more precision until you get a natural rhythm with loose ellipses :)
