the one thing about RiceGum, is that he gives off a different persona from who he actually is. it’s a whole act, it’s a “character” he puts on for his channel, bc that’s the type of content he is known for, so he sticks to that “persona” not who he actually really is. i’ve actually heard from many people, that he is actually very nice and humble in person!
Sorry but what you portray online, even a character does define you as a person. It's what you're putting out to the world and nobody can be in character 24/7, bits of them come through.
I’m sure that if it was all just a character then his mum wouldn’t look at him with pure disappointment.

what you said at the end about irrelevancy coming for everyone eventually is so true and something that TH-camrs who blow up very quickly often fail to understand. all of those creators whose channel starts dying and they keep trying and trying to revive it without really reinventing it (GlitterForever17, grav3yardgirl, etc) and every other video is just a crying/emotional breakdown vid about how they don't know what to do with their careers anymore... they didn't realise while in their heyday that all of this is temporary, they didn't invest their money into other more secure businesses, and now they're fucked because they're looking at the possibility of having to get a real job in the real world, something that they had never considered might have happened.

It's mainly because she's just entertaining, I don't really care about people's scandals unless they're major (like Logan Paul's).
