I work the same job. this solution is great. In our country, sloping roofs are repaired a little differently. efforts are made to do as much work as possible with tins and to use as few sealants as possible. Well but, maybe Americans are better and last longer. thumbs up and good luck at work.
The self adhesive Cap is far more stickier and will conform to the surface better. To do a straight Torch Dowm Membrane is almost impossible to make it work. I can work but much harder. I am trying to show regular home owners the easiest way how to do things

My attic shows no signs of water, but the bedroom ceiling below the attic is leaking when it rains. I'm so confused.
What is the advantage of using a self adhesive cap sheet then torching it as opposed to just using torch down in this situation?

Folks this is not a fix...this is a stop gap until a real solution is done!
It will last as long as the roof is there. So stop gap for a long enough time, that works for me
@@FlatRoofDoctor I did this on my house 12 years ago and counting useing ice and water peel and stick on a 112 degsummer day.
