Love those kittens! The best pet we have had is our old black and white speckled cat from a dairy farm! The farmer brought me a couple kittens.. it was so hard to make up my mind..they were ALL ADORABLE all were black and white! Then his dog of his own will ..brought me a specific kitten... placed it in my lap... call it a sign... that one left the farm with me... He is SO SMART. From day one he demanded our ASD son look him in the eye, softly prompting our faces with his paws, he demanded attention, he says the word out, comes when he is called, or we ring a bell. He literally herds us, keeps us on schedule. Perhaps he thinks he IS a dog. My only regret is we didn't bring home 2 cats from that farm. It must have been so " perfect" for lack of a better word, to have black and white cows, black and white barn cats, black and white dog, surrounding thier white picket, white house..it just seems so " poetic." lol. I mean..on a DAIRY farm no less! Who would have thought such a place existed?! lol
Spring is my favorite time of year with all the new babies, new growth, warm weather. Thanks for the update on the goats. I wonder about them. Love your videos.
Ben used to put it into his coffee and said it didn't affect the flavor at all. He also had maple syrup in the coffee too which probably helped. The store is coming along great. So excited for Jen to finally be realizing her dream there.
I love those board shelves, they go so nicely with everything. Perhaps you could paint that new shelf grey or some shade of brown, it would go much better. The ivy is super!!!

Awe...the kittens are precious. I love the creamsicle! I've been eating a lot of turmeric and I have read it works better with black pepper. I make a turmeric drink with almond milk, delicious!!💞
The store looks great. You know if you used some of those same boards you used for the counter around the walls and for trim, that would look great. Those boards would be free. Love what you have done so far.

I would love a kitten especially orange. I have tried making whipped body butter. We don't buy lotions and soaps from the store because they have toxic ingredients. I am absolutely in love using the body butter on my hands and face. I just made a violet infusion for the new one. I wish I had some fresh goat milk to add to it.

Having a Ranch get a container you can out a hole in for a rat or just use a lid . So take 1/4 cup flour 1/4 cup baking soda and Table spoon of cornmeal and mix . Set it were you see rat problems and it will just kill them off. Your live stock is massive you must be saling tuns of eggs to keep up the feed . We take out about 80 cow's and 80 Hogs every winter being they have to hang in the barn on rafters . Running a challenge when you must take out to not spend over head out on feed so you two just be good. I see your so happy and with a strong smart guy my husband proud of your work. Were moving cow's to Sandy Oregon were in Culver Oregon. They need to be off the fields for feed growing time. Need three cuttings. Your kid's look like good hand's ours up at 4 am eat and out to the barn to feed three hundred hogs some expected soon so they be moved but no play time tell all is done. But what ranch isn't all play. There laughing so much you thing there was something in the poo. So I'm enjoying a new ranch and the little county store. Good job
What are the requirements for labels or warnings ect. For the tincture and salves? I might add salve to my soap line that I sell but wondered if you could give advice on the matter or where you look for guidance. Thanks

I know it sounds crazy but...can't help it so I don't have goats on my farm.🥴 Will have all other typical farm livestock though. In fairness, it was literally goats milk that kept me alive when a new born thru first 2-3 years of my life. I could not keep any other milk down but fresh goats milk. Course that was back in the mid 1950's so there weren't many options then.

Jenn, can you pour multiple tinctures into one bottle? Say I take turmeric, elderberry, and lemon balm daily... Can I make a (nasty tasting) combo do I only deal with one bottle daily? Do you guys just like em up and take them all, one by one?
Why could you not just squirt the amount into a teaspoon and take it that way......no danger of contaminating the remaining tincture with some bacteria from your mouth
Most people don’t understand farm cat is not a town cat or city cat or house cat…. Just like guardian dogs have a job so do barn cats or farm cats. Also you can get the spray bottle toppers for your tincture. One spritz in the mouth

a combination of termeric,garlic and black pepper ís a wonderful dry rub for meat and great on veggies been using about ten years now 🥀

Make sure to tell people if they are on blood thinners not to take turmeric because it is a natural blood thinner.
