I saw a viral tiktok where a lady said there is something wrong with light skinned people dating each other. It had 800k likes and 12k comments. Every other lightskinned & dark-skinned pairing is acceptable. I dont like that double standard. They were projecting hard in the comments

On the new episode 13 of pop the balloon an Nigerian lady in the green dress told a mls guy that he was too light for her. In the comments a light skin woman said it was wrong for her to say that. But, I don't think it wrong for her to like men that resemble her phenotype. So it's not just mls guys that are told they cant have a preference. Some people believe dark-skin women shouldn't have a preference. Due to them being the most affect by colorism.
Why didn't you play the clip instead of trying to dictate the course of perception by showing a frame and detailing your sole perspective; without allowing people to draw their own conclusions off of a more complete perspective?
